Are we civilized? How far our negligency to the poor peoples who lives in the hope of acquiring our helps as we can be able to provide them some helps on our capacity, but we don't think about them due to lake of our will and it happens only by our selfishness, display our incivilized picture? why are we so selfish? what is our real culture? Have we forgot our moral ethics? Is our life going to be commercial that in every moment we are looking for profit only? Shall we be able to justify our mind to go with morality and humanity? The one in Modern Times, where he skates blindfolded in loops and circles on the fourth floor of the department store, repeatedly coming within inches of falling off where there is no guardrail. Especially impressive is when he removes theblindfold and goes through the act of almost falling off. I've seen the film many times but it just struck me how dangerous that stunt was, if it didn't involve visual tricks or nets.
Did it? Or was Chaplin really such a good skater that he could take a risk like that with such ease?

my friend went on holiday and I have been going to her house every day to feed her cats. Yesterday, when I came out of her house I was literally covered in fleas, so much so that I stripped off my jeans and shirt in her driveway so I could shake them all off and get them off my body! My husband and 2 children were with me and they appeared to be flea-free,needless to say ,when we returned home we all showered immediately and washed the clothes we were wearing.My dilemma now is that she is returning from holiday in a couple of days and will be paying us a visit along with her husband and 3 kids.Does anybody know if it is likely that they will carry their fleas into our house as it is only a 5 minute drive from their house to ours? All answers gratefully received as I am going out of my mind!

I'm part of the Sustainability group at school, the school principal is a d**k and doesn't care about the environment, he only cares about money.
Me and the group will be talking in front of him and the school council (the people in-charge of the school's money) To convince them to put solar panels on the school roofs.
I know that it definitely will help the school save on electricity bills, but it WILL cost a lot of money to put them in.
In the end we just wanna reduce carbon emissions!

To be honest, I have no problem with anyone believing whatever they want, I'm just curious about this.

Okay, Jesus allegedly died to be a human sacrifice so that God could forgive mankind for their sins. But if Jesus is God doesn't that kind of negate the point to it all? Basically it's saying that he had himself martyred so that he could forgive mankind, what exactly was acheived from himself not-actually-dieing and ascending to heaven after his non-death.

I know that some people say that Jesus died so that he could go to hell to fight the devil for us but, again, if he was God why would he need to go through the process of being born, living a life, dieing and going to hell when he could surely just go directly there.

All I'm saying is if Jesus is God then he made a helluva huge thing about it. And what's with Judas killing himself if it's what was meant to happen? Why is he cast in a bad light when he was apparently doing God's work by leading him to death?
