How far our negligency to the poor peoples who lives in the hope of acquiring our helps as we can be able to provide them some helps on our capacity, but we don't think about them due to lake of our will and it happens only by our selfishness, display our incivilized picture? why are we so selfish? what is our real culture? We may be said to be civilized natural competitors, at least in the most advanced and peace loving countries in the world. The poor people who live in the hope of acquiring our helps have got it wrong. They should astutely try to help themselves, unless they are so sick that they cannot move. By helping ourselves we also help others in a kind of civilized reciprocal helping process.

You may know the adage that, translated and expanded by me, says that "if you give a man a fish you give him a single meal out of your patronizing charity, showing him that you have the power that he doesn't have, reminding him of his desperate powerty, but if you give him a fishing rod in exchange for something or for some service you give him the possibility to work for his own and for his family meals for even quite a long time so that they all may become better.

We are selfish by nature, and that is certainly good. We must fight astutely for our survival, for a home, for a fatherland, for our own education, for our own religion, for our job, for the money we need every month and for many other things that we and our family may need.

Our "incivilized picture" has been built thru blood and tears and sweat since good old Adam's time (if he ever existed!).

The commercial aspects of our culture are the best that we can display, as the people who do commerce they seldom make war - at least they make less war and less misery than those who make love to indiscriminately populate the world.

We all think more or less often of those who cannot be sure to get three meals every day, maybe not even one. But we also know that life is not a gratis meal, and that life must be fierce, astute, collaborative, constructive in order to not only make a civilized picture, but to try to make a brilliant and harmonious picture of healthy and prosperous human beings in a well-ordered and more fair world.

Human beings are most selfish creation of nature. We change the definition of Civilised according to the circumstances. Our entire life and actions circles around our selves and our selfish interests only. Very few people come out of this circle to help others who are less fortunate. Culture is refinement. Money making has driven away all that refinement of Social behaviour that has been assiduously developed by our forefathers. Taking money for food and education was considered lowest behaviour and prohibited by Scriptures. But today, you can see these two have become big money spinning trades. All these are due to wrong people sitting in positions of power to govern us, who copy shamelessly the culture of other Super Powers.Selfish Political considerations keep the people in perpetual poverty.

This reminds of an agrument that I had with a lady once.

I told here that I don't think that captialism will last that much longer. And it really can't if we want to live on the plantet for much longer. Because captilism surivives on demand for goods. As long as theirs a demand and as long as people are willing to pay cheaply for such things then things will be done as cheap as they can be.

So hence there is need to have the poor around so that they won't be after the top jobs and that way we can have things really cheap and that' part of the reason for export of most of the jobs out of the country.

The other reason is so that way the cops have something to do.

I'm sorry for the rant and most of these are just conspircy theories.

Our commitment to help the poor is mostly based upon the emotion/feeling of empathy and very little else. Yes, it makes us feel bad to be called uncivilized but again, it's only a feeling. Yes, it makes us feel bad to be called selfish but again, it's only a feeling. And if we sacrifice our time and our money to help the poor, then we feel bad about the loss of our time and money.

For most people, there is no real moral issue, it is a matter of balancing feelings, i.e. we see the pain of others and then give only until we feel better.
