Am I the only one getting completely fed up of people asking whether you can prove that God does/doesn't exist? Do these people not realise that belief in God is based on faith, not on scientific evidence?

No, you are not the only one. I think it is because of the fact that it is based on faith that people ask themselves this question over and over again. Faith is not stable, and it is my
experience that there are only a few people who are a believer without question or a hardline atheïst.

When I read the answers on the question 'Does God exist', few people anwer with a clear 'yes' or 'no'. According to my experience though, it is very refreshing to attempt to anwer this question as rational (and personal) as possible: what proof is there for his existence, and what proof for his non-existence acoording to you? Write it down, check which list is longer and draw the conclusion!

The demand for scientific proof is actually a ploy. All honest people will agree that there is at least some possibility that their Creator exists and with that possibility comes the possibility that they will be called into account (judgment) after they die. They are planning their defense. They plan to tell God that He is at fault because He didn't provide proof of His existence.

There is no God. The universe just exists. It never started existing, it has just always existed. We did not evolve from monkeys (as many people wrongly believe.) We evolved from the ancestors of monkeys. Religion exists to satisfy the needs of certain people to believe that life has some ultimate significance.

You cant prove religion with science. It just not possible. It is beliefs and faith as you said. Let's say God did create us and the universe, etc...would God allows his creation to use science to back trace his creation, so to prove that he exists? It may sound absurd but it makes sense.

There is no need to fed up of these questions.
Asking questions, answering, accepting, rejecting answers are the rights of individuals. Please ignore it, if you have different idea on it. Continue with the one you believe the most.
People who asks these questions will believe some thing in one stage, at the same time, new people will arise and ask the same question. Naturally.

You can't prove that God exists...
but they do have scientific evidence of Jesus.
&& People who believe in God, it's our choice...
So, you can't really get mad at them just for what they believe in...
