This is sooooo frustrating!!! I'm only gunna get like an hour of sleep b4 starting out at a completly different school in a new town!! I went to bed at 10:30 and its been almost 4 and a half hours. It always takes me hours to fall asleep, I hate it! Is there any way to make me fall asleep faster??!!! And don't say sleep medications bcuz they all have sideaffects on teens

Okay I have a math exam (mock) tomorrow.. and I was doing revision when I had this question, I've never really got how to do this type of question (how to put the 1/2 into the brackets)...

My guess is:
y= ½ (x-4) (x+2)
y= ½x²-2x-2 Even if this is right once I get to here I don't know how to put it back in brackets without endless guess & checking...

When I put the equation into my graphics calculator it has the (x-4)(x-2) part with the x-intercepts at 4 and -2 but- Yay! I just just figured out how it works for GRAPHS. My caclulator has got the vertex at -4.5, half of the 3².... duh...

Hmm.. so I know how the graph works but I really don't get the equation, so my question still stands, how do you do an equation like this?
y= ½ (x-4) (x+2)

I am 15 and I am getting many distractions. Mainly I keep thinking of my bf though we are together for past one year. I feel lazy after the holidays. I think a lot on sex also which i never did before. I am worried. My dream is to get a PHD in Social Science like my dad. My bf also wants to become an Engineer and dreams for a BIG living. Heyy; well, this Friday I am going to have a sleepover with a couple of friends, we are going to watch High School Musical 2, but its not really a themed party. I can not come up with what to have for dinner, I love pizza, but im sick & tired of pizza every time there is a sleepover, although it is a must, I want a change. haha. I know, whats wrong with me? Who the heck dosint want pizza? haha, anyways, What should I make instead?? It has to be something good and partly easy to cook. Need Help soon, cause my mom is going to go to the store tomorrow.

Okay, so theres a guy I really-really like. And we go 2 different schools hes a grade younger but I waz put in2 school a years early so were the same age. I got an e-mail same as the others I've read from ur Q&A here in Yahoo. Same msg. I receive an employment opportunity to work in Plaza Hotel in Canada from their Personnel Manager named Ms. Rachie Brian...Please help me to know or search if there is really a job opening there, I have doubt because why they will waste their time and effort to search for an applicant from different countries..the offer is very good so for sure applicant from there in Canada itself will be hurrying up to grab their offer..so no need for them to spend money for the flight ticket of the applicants they will hire right? I can see if it's the middle of the night and doesn't seem to be an emergency, asking how to keep your pet more comfotable until you can get to the vet. But a lot of people seem to want to use YA as a substitute for a vet. This is animal cruelty if you ask me.
And don't say maybe they can't afford a vet-if you can't afford healthcare for them you have no business having them.

A friend told me that Kushwant Singh made abusive remarks on Ms.Menaka gandhi in one of his essays.But I did not come across anything disgraceful that Kushwant Singh wrote on Ms.Menaka Gandhi.Rather,Kuswant Singh earned displeasure of Indira Gandhi for supporting the cause that Menaka Gandhi envisioned;environment and love for the animals and birds.Indira Gandhi thought that Kushwant was supporting Menaka's cause.Kushwant had to pay price for that too.But when did he write anything filthy about Menaka Gandhi,which Manaka had to sue against him?
