milk keeps better in cartons and foil lined cartons.

Some milk can be kept in cans like iced coffee. There may be an issue with aluminium cans and pH of milk (closer to neutral) so therefore it's like keeping water in a can? as opposed to the more acidic nature of soft drinks.

There may actually be no real reason for keeping milk or water in cans~

In Singapore Wan Wan Milk is in ring pull cans.

Probably because the aluminum would taint the taste of the milk. Just a thought.
