It seems that the parents are the main focus now. The sooner they are locked up for neglect and fraud the better.

Most of the reports where I live mention Maddie, you must have been asleep perhaps!

Let me get this right, you are saying that you want the distraught parents of a little girl who has been taken under the most sinister circumstances locked up, even though they have broken NO laws, you want them locked up, in prison, away from their little twins for fraud, what evidence do you have. How long have you been back in the UK after your visit/fact finding mission to Portugal to review the evidence for which you are obviously highly qualified and a world renown specialist (otherwise you would look very dumb, hate filled and totally lacking compassion). When will your conclusions be published in the National broad sheets (we all know that very few words of truth are written for the tabloids, which are aimed at quite a low mentality). apologies I am not familiar with your surname professor? do you really think bringing your findings out publicly for the first time on Yahoo Answers is the best/right place?

Most reports I have read recently usually mention Madeleine in the context of being the daughter of Gerry & Kate, and usually mention something about how long she's been missing in the last sentence or two.

This whole debacle has long since stopped being about Madeleine herself, it's "The McCann Show" now.

Poor little mite, neglected when she was with her parents, neglected now that she's missing.

If we don't want to hear anymore about the McCanns its up to us not to buy the papers or listen to the news. I don't buy any newspaper, ever, and I never watch the TV news - its all too depressing or uninteresting.. I have access to yahoo news on here everyday - so I choose what to read in detail - when I choose to do so.
I don't understand why people believe what they are told rather than use their own judgement.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! You people are doing my head in!!

Are you all what 12 years old!!! Let me guess - you all agree that water wings on a baby in a swimming pool is a health hazard because you can "pass germs" by blowing them up. Great - lets do it Britain!! Let the children drown rather than get a cold! Yes - talk about necessary priorities!

I want to see you keep an eye on your children 24 / 7 for 21 years. Really. Give them a break!! We are pointing at the fact that she is 4. My friend was kidnapped at murdered on her 21st birthday. I was lost in a supermarket at 3 years old. My brother got caught in a cross current in the ocean at 6 years old. Parents are not perfect. Its just unfortunate for the McCann's that during their moment, there was evil lurking.

As far as i can tell the focus has been on the "poor" parents right from the start, from the launch of the fund to the involvement of Gordy Brown et al.

Of course most of the reports do mention Madeleine!
Hey! Shes reason for the report!!!

Since shes not around, bless her, the press obviously have to comment only on what they have...her parents' campaign to search for & the investigation...which does make sense.

i totally agree, i dont know how they can live with themselves for what they have done, maddie trusted her parents to care and protect her, not to fcuk off out and leave her, in this country they would have been prosecuted for abandnment and their other 2 children removed by social services

free thinker adandonment of children is against the law! so yes they should be locked up!
