I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO JOIN SERVICE SINCE AGE OF 18,THE PROBLEM IS I HAVE A FELONY CONVICTION(BATTERY ON A PIECE OFFICER) OVER 15 YEARS OLD.I AM 29 AND THIS IS MY LAST CHANCE TO TRY.ANY INFO WILL BE GRATEFUL.

Talk to the recruiters, have them show you in the regulation where you are not authorized to join. You should be able to get a waiver. With only one conviction, so long ago, you should be able to get a waiver. If there's something else in your history, you may be SOL.

I don't think you can. I know someone who got into the Navy with a felony charge (assault with a deadly weapon), but couldn't get into any other branch. You can definitely forget the Marines or Army. If you've tried the USAF and Navy and they wouldn't take you, then thats it.

Felony Convictions are hard to overcome. If the charge included a weapon, forget it, you will NOT be getting in ever.

You could try to get convection expunged from your record but you would still need to be honest about it b/c if it shows up on a back round check then you could get another conviction for lying on your contract talk to your recuter, But the military looks unfavorably on violent criminal records

I think that you being 29, you are too old for the service.. I don't think they will take you.
