and that there is more in this life but the tv and the computer??? I feel so lonely in the house, he doesn't give us any attention and he is not even working, yeah!!! he is at home all the time but it is like is not there...i talk to him and he doesn't even answer but yet he is talking wiht people in the game, people that he doesn't even now....

Can Arbitrators, who are suspected to have received bribe to favour a party to dispute, tried U/S 217, 219 or any other relevant section of IPC? If there is evidence that they have intentionally ignored provisions of Act, rules, circulars pointed by lossing party and also ignored provisions of Arbitration act, Can it not be assumed that acted with unfair means?, Can they be tried under provisions of IPC.

Think about it. Back then, they had electricity and gasoline. They had jobs. They only had to worry about soldiers or secret police from their government invading their houses and carrying people away. Now they have to worry about being shot by Americans or kidnapped, bombed, shot or beheaded by one fo the ethnic factions in Iraq. Under Saddam, they had to worry about being taken away from their homes and tortured in an Iraqi prison; under U.S. occupation, they have to worry being taken away from their homes to Guantanamo or a "black site" in some other country for questioning under torture by American "contractors." Under Saddam, they had stability of a sort. After the American invasion, stability is a distant mirage.

If I were an Iraqi, I would be getting all misty-eyed and nostalgic about the "good old days" under Saddam. Life was simpler and better back then. "Freedom," "democracy," and the right to drink Coca Cola isn't all it's cracked up to be.

What are your opinions?

I teach 4th grade and in today's educational system, you are forbidden to use any of the tried and true disciplining methods of old. I'm NOT talking about spanking here...today there are regulations that prohibit the use if writing, reading, homework, physical placement (i.e., standing in a corner), take away recess time and, of course, public humiliation. My teacher used to make us write "I will not (blah blah blah)" on a piece of paper 'x' amount of times whenever we misbehaved and that worked for me. But we can't do anything like that today.

I am not in favor of anything cruel and unusual, but we are expected to instill a sense of respect and discipline in these students, and it is becoming harder and harder to do so if all of our ammunition is taken away. So I ask you parents, siblings, and hopefully teachers, are you aware of any disciplinary methods that are effective in today's P.C. classrooms? PLEASE suggest them if so. I am in great need for my upcoming class!

I posted these pics LATE last night, so I am hoping there are more people online to see them. I found this about 5 1/2 feet down. Although I found it in Oregon, I am hoping it's real and made its way over here somehow. I am awaiting further word from museums and so far what I have heard is promising. Just want more people to see it. The black coating isn't a mold, it's solid rock.

My gf and I are apt hunting, using a broker.
We found a perfect apt and applied.
We paid the $500 initial fee.
We have perfect credit, good jobs, about 4 yrs of rent in our bank accounts.
We are maybe 4K short of the yearly income requirement, but my gf's mom has a $1M house in New Jersey
We applied on Mon. The broker told us we would know on Wed, Thu at the latest. It is now Fri.
We have been in contact with the broker several times since we applied.
We have heard: "Pretty sure you have it"
"looks good", "Just waiting for final word",
Everything except "Come down and sign the lease".
It has now been five days, and the same old rhetoric.
From what I understand:
In NYC, there might be six or more brokers trying to get the same apt rented.
Until a lease is signed, the apt. remains for rent.
Every day we wait, our chances of getting it diminish.
What is the hold up? Do we have it or not?
NYC apt hunting is unique, so please only answer if are familiar with the procedure in NYC.
