That's right, nailed to a floor and you are in a basment with a locked door and no window to escape from the serial killer who is coming after you with a hacksaw in 10 minutes. There are all the normal items in the basement, how do you escape?

I have already posted questions on here about the receiver.

I am making an upgrade. Narrowed down to a Sony STR DG100 or a Onkyo TS-XR605 or 705. Speakers will soon follow and that brings up my question. Speakers I have researched, like the amp, are on a budget. I found the Yamaha NS-555. My question is this. The Yamahas are rated for a max of 250 watts. That is of course not an issue with these amps. However, the "nominal" power is rated at 100 watts. What does this mean? Is this the lowest power suggested to go to these speakers? This would be an issue with one amp. The Onkyo TS-XR605 is rated at 90w per channel. Help me out audio nerds!

We keep seeing comments from people who claim to somehow have been "rescued" from homosexuality via one means or another, and now they supposedly are so much "happier" because they did that. (Personally, even though I'm straight, I think that MOST such claims are an utter CROCK! Most gays I've ever known were quite contented with their sexuality. And we all know that the RRR Cultists will stop at nothing... including blatant LYING... to further their bigoted agendas.)

So I'd LOVE to hear a bonafide story by someone who decided that gay was better, and so chose to become gay.

But I'll bet we never hear of such a case. Why? Two reasons: (1) Gays have no bigoted agendas, and thus no axes to grind.
(2) People are BORN with their sexual orientation. I've never heard of a person's becoming around 12 or so, and saying, "Gee, I don't think I want to mess around with THAT gender anymore. I think I'll be interested in the OTHER (same or opposite) gender."

What are your thoughts?

This morning on the news they talked about Illinois trying to make it mandatory for people to "shape up or pay up" AND
to "attend church or pay up" something about your paycheck being docked if otherwise. I am a christian woman but I do not believe in forcing people to attend church-you'd think that would cause more violence and church burnings, etc. Also how in the world can employers be allowed to dock your pay for being overweight or with other healt5h issues especially if they dont pay your medical bills or insurance?? One more thing, wouldnt these laws somehow be violating our constitutional rights- Equal rights and separation of Church and State or something???

Star if you liked it

Do read the whole thing its worth it

Jack decided to go skiing with his buddy, Bob. So they loaded up
Jack's mini van and headed north.

After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard.
So they pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who
answered the door if they could spend the night.

"I realize its terrible weather out there and I have this huge
house all to myself, but I'm recently widowed," she explained. "I'm afraid the
neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house."

"Don't worry," Jack said. "We'll be happy to sleep in the barn. And
if the weather breaks, we'll be gone at first light." The lady agreed,
and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night.

Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way.

They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing.

About nine months later, Jack got an unexpected letter from an attorney.

It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally
determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive
widow he had met on the ski weekend.

He dropped in on his friend Bob and asked,
"Bob, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm
we stayed at on our ski holiday up North about 9 months ago?"

"Yes, I do." said Bob

"Did you, er, happen to get up in the middle of the night,
go up to the house and pay her a visit?"

"Well, um, yes," Bob said, a little embarrassed about being found out.

"I have to admit that I did."

"And did you happen to use my name instead of telling her your name?"

Bob's face turned beet red and he said, "Yeah, look, I'm sorry, buddy.

I'm afraid I did." "Why do you ask?"

"She just died and left me everything."

(And you thought the ending would be different, didn't you?)
