My theory on why Japan is so advanced technologically is because after the atomic bomb was dropped on hiroshima japanese people were alerted that other countries had technology to develop weapons that destroy entire cities and decided push their education harder to move ahead technologically as a kneejerk response for survival.

I dated this girl 4 years ago we broke up she got married to someone for three years and was abused physically and mentally. I moved back from hawaii to be with her as I do love her very much. In the course of the last month her divorce was finalized, he still trys to controll her , and to top it off the company she worked for shut down. I am starting to feel like the whipping post. Told me she wanted to be single and I needed to move out ect.. Do you think this will pass as she has a lot of stress going on right now.

I was talkling to my husband yesterday. And he is saying Im NOT getting a tattoo(he doesnt have any). I am anyway....but he is afraid I will get some kind of complication like hepatitis, or get some infection cause I have sensitive skin.
Plus he is saying that even the brand new needles in the package was used but cleaned by professionals. Do the tattoo artists throw the needles away for disposal or do they have them cleaned and repackaged??
My husband said he knew 2 people at his work that had to go to the hospital after getting tattoos. Not sure if he is trying to scare me.
I still want to get one though....and told him he doesnt have to look at it.

He opposes a 5cent gas tax to fund rebuilding crumbling bridges nationwide.
Does that mean he was right to cut the funds in the first place and hand our road maintenance over to private sector roads investment for usage-fee in SAFETEA-LU? Because it looks like private sector isn't interested: Can I interest you in a bridge for sale, cheap?

Although this has brought him closer to me and as of now he doesnt want to leave me alone. But I just feel like he doesnt understand. After all he didnt want a baby to began with and now all of a sudden he wants to try again as soon as he gets home...But when he tells me that he loves me I cant bring myself to tell him back.
