No, I wonder why others don't try. It must be very unfulfilling to just slide through life and look back and realize that you haven't made a positive influence on anything or anyone. I don't know how some people can look at themselves in the mirror. I do become enraged when people advance through asskissing, nepotism, and deceit, while my efforts go unrewarded, but I guess that keeps me humble. Thanks for the vent.

Yes, sometimes I do. Sometimes it's hard to know if what you do is really making a difference. It is hard sometimes to stay positive when there is so much negative around you. And I wander sometimes if some of the people who say that they care about me, actually do. But that's when I have to pick myself back up, and remember that the possibility for us to change someone's life by just one act of kindness always exists, and that makes it ALL worth it again. It may be making a difference to even just one person, and that is what keeps me going.

Sometimes, I may wonder, but not for long. I get the reminders I need by seeing the good that has come from trying. That doesn't mean everybody will appreciate it, but it's still worth it for the ones who do. That is why I try.

I'm wondering that at work today, my successful efforts all seem to have been wasted by needless miscommunication. It was always amazing the wonderful teachers in this world try so hard with kids that don't seem to want to learn. This can be a frustrating world for people who care to do a good job, but we would be doomed without them.

No. I never wonder why I try.
It's just my nature.
I want to make the world a better place if I can and take care of those I love and care about at work and at home.
Here, in this unique world, I try because I care as well. I cant switch off who I am.
Even if it doesn't always work, I always try to find a way to do things with an open heart.

Yes, I do often wonder,,,then I remember that I'm paid by the hour..so if I have to redo what I did the last time I worked, so be it. Can't help it if the other employees make a mess of what I've done...the boss can pay me to do the same thing over and over if she likes......
and life at work does not get easier,,,I do enjoy what I do. ( at least the first couple of times)...

No, I try to remain positive about all situations. If one way doesn't work out another will. I refuse to give up or give in. There are too many people and things that I care about. Love to you : )

If you don't try you can't complain. Could you be a little less specific in your questions. You have really narrowed this one down to a point where there is little leeway to answer it. What would the Colonel do?
