I have a miniature schnauzer who has skin issues. I switched her from Science Diet to another brand which I actually like very much (Dick Van Patten's Potato and Fish). And, gave her carrots instead of regular treats. So, I have been giving her baby carrots as treats - she has been licking nonstop on her legs and feet. I stopped giving here the carrots and she has almost stopped licking all together. I don't know if it's becasue of the carrots but that's the only thing I stopped giving her and now she's not licking. Does anyone know if the carrots could have been the culprit? We've always used carrots as treats with our other dogs because they're healthy. Just curious...

My boyfriend and my 2 kids want to move, we need to get away from our controlling families. I am looking for any advice on moving across country, how much to save up, a realistic time table, jobs and apartment advice and anything else that you think would help. Yes we do know the climate is different up there so I don't need advice in that fashion. So we want to move from Albuquerque, NM to Bangor, ME. Thanks

I have to be careful what I give my cat because he gets urinary tract infections. He loves canned cat food but the ash count is too high so I am trying to find an alternative to put his cranberry and vitamin c in.

I've read everyone's notes on E-Investments Provider. However it's too late for my cousin who recently went through the process to "work" for E-Investment Providers Inc. He actually received the money in his account, withdrew it and sent it via Money Gram and the money left was his "earning" for the job. The next day when he checked his account the wire transfer had disappeared. There was no record of the transfer but he was left with a negative balance because there was record of his withdrawal. He's now almost $9500 overdrawn. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do? Any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.

My husband left about 2 weeks ago - we are still on friendly terms (we have a 4 year old daughter) we can still talk and in fact talk better now we are apart than we did when we were together (no there is no chance of reconcilliation)

Just recently I have been thinking about my wedding ring - I sort of want to remove it but I have had a ring on that finger for 10 years 3 years engagement ring and 7 years wedding ring and I just feel like I would miss the ring on that finger.

My question is for those who have gone through separation or divorce - when did you remove your ring and what made you take that step to remove it?

He would attack illegal aliens, unpopular, easy target
China, easy target, China does not have a TV channel in the USA, so it is not easy for China to defend itself. (to Dobbs audience).
He attacks government departments, with a general criticism, and not in a way that a defense can be effectively mounted.

He does not attack the greatest government fiasco of the last 20 years, the war in Iraq. If he does, he does it mildly and he promptly brings up one of the generals under CNN contract to give participate in what he is saying.
He looks a frustrated old man, not very smart and not very fair.

I am not so sure my central air is cooling the house enough. Its around 97 degrees outside and my thermostat is set for 72 and its still around 78 or 79 inside the house. I am cooling about 1500 sq. feet.

Well my dad drinks like beer every day
like 4
and the limit is 2
and i tell him but he doesnt listen
he says tht he doesnt hurt anybody
and that he is really thirsty
i tell him to drink water but he doesnt like water
i throw away all the beers but tht doesnt stop him to go buy more
also cigarrates i throw them out but he still keeps buying
he doesnt want to understand
