This makes me laugh! My brother-in-law is 30 and still does it. My son is 6 and takes off every piece of clothing and folds it to the side to use the bathroom, but only to go #2...lol Maybe it's genetic...lol (My son has not been raised around his Uncle, so he could not have taught him this)
We don't stress on it, to each their own. They are little human beings and will develop habits and personalities all on their own. Let her be and she will grow out of it or she won't. I don't think there is anything "wrong" with it... Just an inconvenience.

She's going to the bathroom...deal with the taking all the clothes off later. I have the same problem with my 2 year old grandson, but I figure he will become more comfortable with this when the time comes. When he realizes it is way faster to just pull his pants down and then pull them up when finished. Don't worry, you do not have a little exhibitionist on your hands!

I had to giggle when I read this question. My son is convinced he needs to remove all clothing from the waist down to use the bathroom. This includes shoes and socks, which is always fun in a target bathroom. He made a mess on his clothes one time and he is just very careful now. Obviously, I do not have any advice but thought I would let you know it is not just your daughter. Personally, I am just happy he is going in the potty. :)

This is quite normal. I think most little kids go through this.
I know for my youngest it was just to hard for her to balance on the toilet with her clothes on. So she'd take them all off, so in case she fell she was tangled up in her clothes.
Now she has learnt to use the toilet and keep her clothes on.
She is 4 now and still takes her clothes off from the waist down when doing #2.
And my 6 year old still hasnt figured out how to use the toilet while wearing a skirt, she just pulls the whole thing off. I have shown her how to in a skirt but she is more comfortable pulling it off.
So I figure they'll eventually figure it out when they are ready.
Just give your daughter time and she'll figure it all out.

She's probably not long used to the idea of the bathroom, give her time and if nothing changes look at a treat system. Personally i'd let her grow out of it, two years old is very young.

Children usually develop a sense of modesty about 2 or 3... sometimes later. Theoretically, she'll grow out of the desire to completely disrobe when she goes potty.
You may want to talk to her about it... Have her come with you into the bathroom when you go potty, show her that you don't take all your clothes off when you go- taking your shirt off isn't required, removing shoes is equally unnecessary.... etc..

totally natural for that age. My grandson took all his clothes off from the waist down, including shoes until he was about 4. I think it's just easier for them without the restriction of clothing. As she gets more used to the whole process she will start to go like "big kids".

Just give her a little more time. She'll soon figure out that it's easier to just pull down her pants than to strip naked. You could help her by gently reminding her that it OK if she leaves her shirt on. When she gets the hang of that, show her how to pull her pants down instead of off or to lift her skirt. She'll get it, she's still really young. Plus it'll make a really cute story when she's older.
