A god who sends one of his children to die on a cross is not a god that suits the 21st century. the sooner this cruel god fades away from our memory the better it is for all

jesus i believe was executed by romans because he spoke the truth. He spoke on behalf of human rights and the authorities hated jesus for that. So each time i see a cross i see the truth nailed onto it

I just saw that alot of you gave awsome ideas to "ben's girl" and thought that you could help me with mine. I need about 28 ideas though. I am giving tree seedlings as favors so i thought about maybe naming each table a differant kind of tree or go with differant Fall things such as ghourds, etc.... Any ideas? For centerpieces, i have glass vases with candles and around that i am putting craft straw and was going to put leaves, pinecones, indian corn, and so on. Any cool thoughts??Thanks

I do not want any quotes from scripture, however feel free to be as religious as you like.

I suppose technically I'm an atheist (or perhaps a pantheist) and I can't see the point of living. If I only enjoy my own experiences, and when I die that's it - my memory and personality cease to exist. I become no longer conscious - I die. So, I take nothing with me from being alive - there's no where to take it - so what's the point of enduring a life of mysery? Why can't I choose to kill myself to end the torment? Does it matter if I kill myself - how will that affect anyone else? Should I care about anyone else when - once I'm dead - no-one else will affect me in any way?

I'll soon have use of a digital camera, but will be sharing the camera with my child who plans to use the camera often with friends. How can I be sure my pictures are not stored on the camera itself, or mixed in with other pictures?

I was told I'll need some type of memory card. Are all the photos ONLY saved on those cards(and no where on the camera itself similar to a computer), which means I would simply use a seperate memory card from my child? Thanks

I got serious astigmatism after the lasik surgery, not right after the surgery but gradually getting worse, image can be well recognized but with a cluster of gleam around, and the deepness of real image is slightly lightened, I didn't pay attention to it first but afterwards the symptom is getting worse, I don't know what the problem is, I do read a lot and face computer everyday, but before I got the surgery my eyes keep in the steady state since 5 years ago without getting worse, so I wanna find the reason. I wonder if it is because when I study, when I concentrate, I unconsciously strain my eyes, which strain the cornea causing the deformation of cornea (the cornea is thinner than before for it's cut by lasik surgery) . So the cornea is becoming thinner and thinner, it's suppose to be very dangerous if the cornea become thinner, which is what I concern about, I wish I could stop the diaster but the situation is still getting worse, can somebody help me? I find this happening a lot lately, and I feel awkward about it. I had been accostumed to having men approach and broach conversation if they found me attractive (foreign men still do this, not white American men). I feel unsure about myself in turning this around, but the behaviour I'm seeing seems to suggest that I'm supposed to if I ever want to have a date again. I have just replanted a shoot of pandan, it's just been a few days and now it's wilting, i've watered it regurlarly, it has healthy soil and it is placed in a sunny spot... why is it wilting...
