Married for 30 years, got tired of his crap, filed for divorce two years ago, still not divorce yet, once this happens I will be happy, and going out to celebrate like there's no tomorrow.

there are good and bad to both.
Some parts of my marriage were good, but the bad just got worse until there wasn't any good anymore.
Single can be lonely, but I can do what "I want" when I want and don't have to take into consideration whether he wants to or not, or if he's got other plans. Nor do I feel resentful for always going along with what he wants to do, just so we can have some quality time together, because he doesn't want to do what I enjoy.
