You obviously have absolutely no concept or understanding of what Christianity and the bible are all about. Why don't you actually read the bible, and then maybe you can ask intelligent informed questions.

God knew that Jesus would die on a cross before He sent him into the world. He knew, in Jewish tradition that a sacrifice had to be provided for the sin of the world. I am sure that Jesus knew that He would die on the cross. He was executed as you say, by the Romans because He spoke the truth. If you remember Pilate had a choice, he could have let Jesus live and this is really what he wanted, but when given the choice, the people chose to let Barabbas free and kill Jesus. Jesus became the sacrificial Lamb of God. So perfect and without blemish that only He was worthy to be sacrificed for the sin of the world.

The whole plan of God and the whole reason for the world existing would have been for nothing if Jesus had not died on the Cross. He did that voluntarily. The Romans crucified Jesus but he did not HAVE to die. Being the only begotten Son of God in the flesh he had the capacity for immortality because he was both God and Man, and only he could choose to die, to pay for the sins of mankind, so men could live in the presence of God forever. Men can never do enough good deeds to pay their way to heaven. In the laws of God a way is open for a Redeemer to do that for men if they will repent and accept Jesus as their sovereign Lord. He also rose again and overcame and defeated both death and hell. You may not like or agree with this answer. You are a former Muslim and never did know Jesus or who He really is. In the Law of Eternal Justice this is the only way out for men who because of their sins are banished from the presence of God forever.
This does not make God a cruel God. It makes God a just God and a Merciful God. God never does go against His laws. He obeys them perfectly. He is the perfect Judge and the Perfect Redeemer.

Hello, XMuslim/athiest:
Our Creator knew there was a risk in creating a new planet while His angels were in rebellion. So, should this planet fall, the plan to save it was drawn up in advance, "before the foundation of the world."
A peaceful universe requires all God's subjects to obey through love, and if He did not enforce His noble laws, it would be like this planet where anyone who slanders their opponent may be president.
The creation narrative gives you a clue to God's redemption strategy. The wound Adam received to obtain a wife pointed down in history when our Creator died a substitute to receive His bride, the church.
The essence of this plan is revealed elsewhere, like when God led Abraham to Mt. Moria to sacrifice His son--that is the very spot where Jerusalem was later built and God sacrificed His son 4,000 years later.
There is more, Atheist, because God sealed a Bible code that proves Jesus is the Messiah in the only part of the Bible that says you can't understand it until "the end of the days." See http://abiblecode.tripod.com
It will explain why there is so much religious conflict among people who want to live peaceably. And if you want to dialogue by e-mail about deep things of the Bible, contact me.
Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua
P.S.: Did you know that the "red shift" shows the universe is moving away from our Galaxy? That means God put us in the center. And earth will be the new Heaven with Jesus ruling as the "last Adam" (see 1 Corinthians 15:45). Yes, Jesus offered Himself before the world was created.

I'd like to answer your question accurately. However, it is clear that you do not have a good grasp of the ' ransom sacrifice' paid by Jesus.
As you can see, some people believe that Jesus is God. If that is so, who was Jesus calling out to when he was dying?
By the way, it's an historical fact, the Romans did not crucify people. They were simply nailed to a pole as was Jesus. I think this 'Cross' business is wholly misleading.
Look at it this way. Say Jesus was executed today, by the electric chair. Would you want to wear a miniature electric chair around your neck? Of course not.
Or, go into a church, say for a wedding, to stare at a huge gold electric chair hanging on the wall? Exactly.
God didn't kill his son. Jesus knew he would die when he came to the earth, that is why he got on with preaching while he had the time.
He started doing his father's work on the earth, which is still being continued by many faith full Christians.
However, God did not want us to worship false images such as crosses, statues, of Jesus or Mary, or anything else! Jesus was not a pope, appointed by God yes, but not a pope. He didn't live in a palace, he didn't have people waiting on him.
He was an ordinary man, perfect in every way, and he came to earth to save YOU!

First, because you're an exmuslim/atheist give you no room to judge God since you left Him, let alone the belief that you never had. Killing infidels and praising a prophet who rides on horses with wings isn't suited for the 21st century either?
He did speak the truth, He said He was the son of God.
And you're right...the sooner He fades from your memory the sooner it will be better, because when we forget about God, this will start the end of days, when we least expect it.

The Romans killed Jesus , The Jews sent him to the Romans for exaction. God resurrected his son .
You admit he was executed by the Romans yet you ask if god sent him. God did not force the Romans and Jews to murder his son
The message Jesus carried is more important now than any time in history.
God sent his only begotten son to save lives John3:16
By the way I feel sick every time i see a cross because god despises idols and If Jesus died on a cross why worship it .
Older bibles say stake or tree not cross
Matthew 24 explains the signs of his arrival and what to watch out for so as to survive

because of the fact sin has a cost, and to easily overlook it without justice is tyranny, there could be no outcomes and your neighbor would desire to slit your throat and rob you, yet there could be no justice for it. There would desire to be a fee. Our movements, as quickly as executed, are continually indelibly marked in background. If I stole something the day previous (do not tell absolutely everyone), no count what reliable I do after that, it does not replace what I did at that ingredient and place in background. That mark would desire to be accounted for before a superbly purely, holy God. on the grounds that we've not got any skill to pay that fee, God's one and in basic terms begotten Son did. for this reason sin is forgiven, yet there is desirable justice (righteousness) for it.

I think he did. God didn't like it that he had to send his son to die for us. I mean look at what happend after he died!!! Storms, earthquakes, and a darkness so dense that you couldn't even light a fire for 3 days. But you are right about the Romans. They killed him because they were afraid that what he said was true. The wicked take the truth to be hard.

No, God did not send Jesus to die on the cross. God sent Jesus to bring people back to Him.
God that Jesus would be slain, just as God knows everything ... past, present, future. However, the purpose of Jesus was the purpose of all of God's Prophets ... to be the vessel of God's Revelation to mankind, to start a new religious dispensation, to bring a new Holy Book (in Jesus' case, the New Testament), and to bring a spiritual renewal to mankind.
Christians are way off when they answer "yes" to your question. There is no trinity, Jesus was not God's son, Jesus was not God, and he wasn't sentenced to die. Men killed him, yes, but that wasn't the purpose of his mission. Bringing people back to God was his mission. Period.

God is love - He is merciful. Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God, but also 100% man and 100% God - put Himself upon the cross for us - you and me - as a payment for our sin - we should be the ones on the cross - But because Jesus loves us so much, He gave of Himself - for us. When you look at a cross - you should see LOVE.
You need to change your mindset - God is good, loving, kind, merciful - all of these things. He loves us. John 3:16 says "For God so LOVED the world (you and me), that He gave his One and Only Son, Jesus, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish (spend eternity without God), but have everlasting life (Heaven)." My prayer for your today friend is that you will see God as your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. Blessings.
