I'm making some custom mods to my 1985 Delorian.

I filled out a pet info sheet and told the apt. management I would pay the deposit in the next few weeks when I had the money. It completely slipped my mind, and they never called to collect it either. A third roommate just moved in, and complained about my dog because she's allergic. The sales manager said that since I've already broken the rules and not paid the deposit, I either get rid of the dog or be evicted, they wont let my pay my pet deposit. I can't live without my dog, he's my rock. I can't terminate my lease in anyway either unless I find someone to take over it, which is tough because NOONE wants to live in these apts anymore even though they are brand new. What would happen if I got evicted? Besides that it goes on the credit report. And are they not supposed to give me a warning, then fine me, if I break a certain rule in the lease instead of just evicting me?

To the people who claim that it is never acceptable for a man to hit a woman, I have a few questions for you.

Is it ever acceptable for a woman to hit a man?
If so, why does it work for women only and not for men?

If a man should suffer the most severe consequences for hitting a woman, should a woman who hits a man also suffer the same consequences?
If not, why is it one way for women and another way for men?

Keep in mind when answering that men and women are considered both by law and by social standards as equal. If you suggest that men and women are not equal, do you support and promote equality for women (voting rights, salary, etc.)?
If so, why the double standard?

For those whose answers are not applicable to the questions, please spare me your opinions.

Is there a particular name for the big switch that evil villan's usually use for turning big machines on? It's sort of like a big handle that you pull down to connect 2 metal sticky-out bits together to make a circuit. Any ideas?

Mine is when I was 17 I ran away to Puerto Rico and never came home...I regret it now but I look back and think wow that was crazy!!! I now have 5 children and if any of them did that to me I think I would go nuts.!

We will cal her ST she does a good job at her work but she is always negative and angry. She wants to be my friend and I just cannot handle people like that. I just moved to southern CA and want to store my winter jackets in my garage. I will be placing them in a plastic container and putting them on a shelf. Do I need to put mothballs or cedar chips in the plastic container to keep mice away? Or is there something else i should do? I want to make sure they don’t make a nest in my winter jackets.
