A little background - My mom died right after Thanksgiving of last year, leaving me (30) and my two brothers (28 and 26) to take care of our father (60) who is in a personal care home due to Parkinson's disease. Obviously, this means we have to clean out the house my parents lived in for 35+ years.

My aunt asked me for my mom's jewelry the day after she died. We have found it, but haven't told her. She's making a stink about old Legos and Matchbox cars that she thinks belong to her (Mom had told her she could have them apparently). She also wants to go through my mom's china to determine which pieces belonged to my grandmother. Now she wants all of the pictures of my mom so she can burn them to a CD, but last time we gave her pictures for my wedding, none of them came back in frames and my baby albums were destroyed because they didn't put pictures back where they belonged.

I don't want to lose my family entirely, but I don't know what to do about her overbearing behavior!

I'm thinking of getting Tree Braids done but I don't know where to get them. I ask but many salons say they can do it but then mistake them for invisible braids. Tree Braids is when you cornrow the hair and adding loose human or synthetic hair at the same time.
Anyone know where I can get these done in NY?

I see that they have completely washed you brains about my country. you are thinking wrong about iran's government. it is a democracy. the president and MPs are elected by the nation. even the supreme leader ( or what you call the great dictator) is selected indirectly by people. in 1979 96% of the people voted yes to islamic republic. 90%of the nation are religous shias and they believe ayatollah as their religous leader by heart . even some of my anti-revolution fiends still have respect towards the supreme leader.
in my school somtimes the left-wings and right-wings talk about the regime (I am in the right) . but most of the anti-revos actually do not want to overthrow the revolution , the just want some changes. after all all of us pray to god and join the religous activities.
dont blinly believe what you see on your TV screens. they only show you bad parts. if you want to know more about our goverment you have to see it with your own eyes. come to iran.
about hte economy, iran is 21st in the latest world bank GDP listing.

Pardon my ignorance here. I understand that Catholics follow the same religious text and the same God as Christians. But I know very few Catholics who refer to themselves as Christians.

Am I missing something here? Do Catholics not like being referred to as Christian? Does everyone else consider them Christian?

I'm party of a city-wide capter of a sorority. The college I attend has so far refused to recognize my sorority on campus. Our tenents include scholarship and service, and our sisters are stellar students and very active in the community both on and off campus. Still, the College refuses to recognize us, and this causes lots of problems when we want to hold community service events, advertise, or even hold meetings. We have had meetings with the Director of Greek Affairs at school, and even though we are not looking for a house or funding (just recognition and a place on the website is all!) we still haven't gotten far. I need some suggestions to catch the attention of the administration and finally get the recognition we deserve!

it's right behind both my eyes (though usually it's just left) i don't know why..sometimes after i workout, after i stop watching tv, when i get up quickly (though i believe that's a normal thing), in the car and sometimes just really randomly. What could this be??

i'm 15 btw and not overweight, i eat healthy for the most part and such. :] thanks for any help in advanced!

we have heard that north korea, iran and some others are playing silly with some dangerous substances. As Hiroshima's mayor said, in his speech this morning, the united states are also to blame for not signing the treaty of non-proliferation of nuclear weapon. why the united states refuse to sign such document? do they have a plan on taking over?

Christ's lost years, in between his childhood in egypt and his return as an adult seem to have been found -
thanks to good old archiology!

Aparently he traveled for a long time, he stayed in india for many years and was loved by the Dhalits and peasents and they refered to him as St.Issa. Further more he was thrown out by the Bhrammen for teaching the peasents about higher religion and philosophy (something to be repeated with the Rabis)
The he traveled to Tibbet apparently where he was taught by monks who believed he was Matreya Buddha (who was supposed to be white) - there are even writtings, written by an indian historian about jesus's/ st.issa's travels.

have you heard this?

there is also recent evidence provided to show that Jesus didnt die on the cross, or atleast when he came back to life. He traveled back to India, where he finally died of old age - there is a shrine to St.Issa in india....I also know that many Muslims refer to Jesus as St.Issa
