I was wondering, how does the doctor check your HCG levels? Is it through a blood test or urine? I had to submit a urine and blood sample last week and I was curious to know what my levels were. (I can view my results online). Do they check the levels at every appointment? If anyone can tell me what to look for, I'd appreciate it!

im not one for showing off, but i do love showing my Boa constrictor off to people. i just love seeing the look on their faces. Shes well over 6ft long now,nearly as thick as my leg, she weighs a ton, and shes the sweetest thing,has loads of personality, can be stubborn, loves her cuddles and normaly falls asleep over the back of the sofa when im watching tv, shes about 4 years old and only bitten me once but im blaming me for that not her, when shes on a mission theres no stopping her. love her to bits.

Our daughter will be 16 in 6 weeks my wife thinks we should sell her the car for $3.000.00 (worth 6500.) I think this is a BIG problem. A lot of people say that Wikipedia is unreliable, but what makes it any less reliable than Britannica Encyclopedia, or MSN Encarta? I know that anyone can edit the articles on Wikipedia, but it's still people creating articles using their knowledge and sourcing information, which is what they do at Britannica or Encarta, but the only difference is they are employed by a company to do that. So why should Wikipedia be less reliable simply because regular people can edit it?

My friend is marrying my sister in law & they will be married in Lake Tahoe in August, 2008. He doesn't want to rent tuxedos....but doesn't want to make his groomsmen purchase a separate suit when they already have to pay to fly to Lake Tahoe. Having read another story of another baby who died because they were forgotten in the back seat in this summer weather and then was found dead.
I thought of a simple idea as a reminder, Using a velcro strip through a pacifier, we fasten it on the steering wheel, to make absolute certain that we would never forget that beloved baby when our minds were elsewhere.
What do you do? Our lives are so busy these days, it is amazing how we can forget the most important things in our lives.

We bought a house in Houston three months ago for $169K. After the purchase, we sent in a request to the County Tax office to transfer the property to our names. Today, we check the County Tax office website and find out that the property has been transfered to our names. However, the appraisal of our property is shown at $179K. Can we protest the appraisal from the County Tax office by showing them our purchased price? By the way, the tax value of this property was $162K the last two years.
