We all come to Faith in Christ Jesus, drowning in our sinfulness and pride. After our salvation, through belief in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit will start to show us the sinfulness of our ways. It is at this point we either submit to God or we resist God. Those who submit to God will grow spiritually and those who resist God will never mature in their faith. Resisting God can also lead to consequences in this life and in our eternal life. Paul speaks on this subject in
1Cor.3:14-15...Speaking of "Rewards" Paul says:.....
"If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames."
He is speaking to us about the things we do in this lifetime, good or bad, they are all recorded and although we are saved from the penalty of death for our sinfulness, we can still suffer consequences in this life and in the next, for the things we do now. God disciplines all His children, it is those who learn from this discipline and repent of their sinful ways, these are the ones who God entrusts with much more.
Look at the words "Disciple" and "Discipline"...see the similarity? We cannot be one, without the other.
Who can claim that "After" their conversion, they completely quit lying, coveting, swearing, lusting, cheating,-etc.
We all sin and all sin is rebellion towards God. All sin is equal in Gods eyes, therefore, those who continue to willfully sin in any area of their lives, will come under Gods discipline. God treats us as individuals, we do not all grow at the same spiritual pace, some people have been in bondage to specific sin for many years and while God chooses to immediately release some from addictive bondages, others He releases more slowly. God knows what path and what speed is most beneficial to us individually, we stand before God as His servants and He alone will judge us. We are saved by faith in Christ Jesus, by Gods Grace. Some will mature quickly and others will mature more slowly. Be careful not to judge your brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus too harshly. God will judge each of us by the same standard we judged others. God Bless You...Peace.

First of all...the bible does not list homosexuality as a sin, but a "toevah" or unclean act...along with eating pork, and having sex during menstruation. A sin is a crime against God...and there is nothing in the bible saying homosexuality is a crime against God.
Also, as for being put to death...the passage says nothing about not going to heaven or about going to hell. Only being put to death.
Most people read the bible, but don't bother to try and understand that it was written during a time when the population had to have these laws in place just to survive. Cleanliness and sanitation were paramount in order to keep disease and sickness down. Also, they needed to increase their population in order for the race to survive...so homosexuality was certainly frowned upon at the very least.
To answer the question: Of course a person can be homosexual and christian. The real question is: Why would they want to belong to a religious sect that actively bans them?

We are all sinners, a person can be homosexual and not think or act on those things and he can be a christian. An alcoholic is still just that, if he doesn't get drunk he doesn't act on it and therefore no sin. The title doesn't make the sin, the thoughts and actions do.

What is "christain"?
God loves ALL His creation, including those who continue to sin. However, if a homosexual truly loves the Lord and commits his/her life to Him, he/she will turn away from sin and "become a new creature in Christ." So the answer is a resounding "NO!"

Absolutly. I don't see why not. I see nothing wrong with homosexuality and I don't give a f#ck what the bible says about it. Live and let live, or something like that.

yes and no. If you choose to be homosexual and then accept Christ and become a Christian, than you will see that homosexuality is against everything that God stands for.

I think they may think so but a true christian could not be committing homosexual acts as they know that is sin.

Of course.
I don't know how anyone could think otherwise, regardless of whether or not you think that homosexuality is sin.
