Father in Law is having surgery next Monday to open blockages on all the arteries. The one that is totally blocked is located behind the heart. The Dr. said that it may be very difficult to reach that artery because of blood vessels and other tissue. Could this be true? They do heart transplants and blockages all the time and have never heard this. He also has pulminary problems. He takes several breathing treatments a day. How does this affect his surgery? Father in law is 75. Thanks in advance.

I recently came back on a trip with Aloha Airlines from Honolulu to Oakland. I had a cooler full of perishable food. The airline lost my bag, recovered it and returned it to me 1 day later. Problem is that all the food is spoiled and I had to toss everything. They said their contract of carriage doesn't compensate for spoilage of perishables. Its not my fault that this happened. I told them it was perishable when i checked in the bags. Is there are recourse for me, legally or otherwise? I need some ammunition to contest this.

I have 2 PC's on the same table, the same distance from the router, which has 4 possible connections, when i test my internet speed "on speedtest and other websites" one PC gets 550kb/s while the other gets 2200kb/s, what could be the problem?

I just had surgery on my tooth earlier today and they said not to eat any food that you have to chew-only mashed potatoes and soup-and they also said that I cant exercice today or tomorrow....Why cant I exercise?Does swimming count as "exercise"?

After all, science is the study of the Earth, which if you're Christian you believe God created. If there is that much about the Earth that conflicts with the Bible, isn't that a sign that something went wrong along the way? Some people tend to take the bible so literally - but the bible says nothing about evolution or any of the other scientific theories that people fight over today.

A friend of mine says we average 4 nighttime spiders per year. Creepy, but nutritious. Any truth? Does anybody film and review themselves sleeping daily? 'Cause that sort of thing would be awesome for my curiosity.

Ok in Order of the Pheonix (the book) Dolores Umbridge reveals that she sent dementors after Harry at the beginning, my question is did she send the dementors after Harry to get harry expelled because she knew harry would perform illegal underage magic by summoning a patronous, or was her intention to have Harry's soul sucked out by the dementors?

A cat dies and goes to Heaven. God meets him at the gate and says ’You’ve been a good cat all these years. There are currently 4,200 different identified religions in the world. Yet Christians insist THEIRS is right and all others are wrong. Do you know what the odds are that YOUR religion is right? It is exactly 0.000238095238. That's pretty low odds huh?

To put it into perspective, you odds are better at ALL of the following:
Dating a millionaire
Writing a NY Times Bestseller
Fataly slipping, falling and dying in the shower
Audited by the IRS
Having a child who tests as genius
Being a woman who is raped
Going to jail
Seriously injured by mowing the lawn

I mean, really. YOUR religion is the correct one out of 4,200? What evidence do you have of this? (Other than your parents TELLING you its the right one)

My herpes outbreaks are always in virtually the same spot, or within an inch. If I am shedding the virus, is it only from this small area? Or when shedding occurs, does it travel to other "unaffected" parts and thus risk spreading in those areas too?

I received this chain letter in my mailbox:

Dear Friend,
Greetings: I am a retired attorney. A few years ago a man came to me with a letter. He asked me to verify the fact that this was legal to do. I told him I would review it and get back to him. When I first red the letter my client brought me, I thought it was some "off-the-wall" idea to make money. A week and a half later we met in my office to discuss the issue. I told him the letter he originally brought me was not 100% legal. My client then asked me to later it to make it perfectly legal. I asked him to make one small change in the letter.

It goes on for another 2 pages about how if you send $1 to the 6 names on the list & you will make $800,000.00 in just 3 months. You pay for a list of names to send letters to. I KNOW this is a scam.... OR IS IT?!? Has anyone done this and can honestly say "I lost money" or "I gained money"?

I'm conflicted on not knowing what to do with this, either throw it away or actually send it out?!

If the us dollar continues to become weaker what can we buy which retains value? Gold?
