Not enough. I heard that one should drink 8 glasses. I drink what I can but I need to drink more. Since it varies day by day I can't give you an exact number. However, I do drink at least 2 glasses when I'm in a water mood. This morning, I drank a whole bottled water and that was 16.9 fl. oz. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less. I drink fruit juice alot so I wonder if the water in that counts.

I generally drink 4 to 5 bottles a day at the office and then once I get home 2 or 3 large glasses.

I try to drink two 16 oz bottles of water a day, giving me 4 servings of pure water. I should probably have more. Most health experts recommend at least 8 servings of water a day.

One thing that the health experts don't tell you, however, is that you do get a lot of water back through your food. On average, you lose about 6 cups of water a day from burning calories, sweat, urinating and the rest. You take in 2-4 cups of water a day through your food. I consider that I take in 2-4 cup sof water a day through my food, and drink at least 4 cups a day - I think I stay pretty hydrated that way.

If you want to know if you're dehydrated or not, check the color of your pee. If it's anything but a very pale yellow, you are probably dehydrated. If it's getting to be almost organish yellow, you need to start drinking much more water a day, STAT. (The only exception to this I can think of is if you are taking vitamen supplements that may make your pee a brighter color. Happens with Omega 3 fish oil, for instance.)

I don't drink glasses of water....I drink from 1/2 liter bottles.... and i drink at least 4 of those this time of year.....I may not drink quite as many during the winter months...
