Priests take a vow of Celibacy. Does it really matter whether you aren't having sex with women, as opposed to not having sex with men?

Is the vow itself such a light thing that the sexual orientations of those who keep it is of any consequence?

Or is it somehow mitigating if you break it with an approved party? Or blameless if the other party isn't a consenting adult?

I just broke up with my ex a couple of months ago. I met a new GREAT guy. Problem: My contract job is up, and there are so many jobs oppurtunities in Oregon and my brother said I could stay with him until I get settled. My new boy hates his job, but says he would love to go there if there were jobs in his field of work (carpentry). Well, there is! And he told me that if we were together for a year and he knew our relationship was good, he would go. I would want the move to be completely HIS decision, not something I "pushed" him into. But it has only been a couple of months.. I don't know what to do. I didn't intend on meeting such a great guy so fast, and now it feels like I get to lose him. Should I go with my original plans and leave him, or stick around and wait for something else? What is the odds of this relationship working out if he did go with me? Does that sort of thing ever really work out for people?

This is the 1st electricity bill I have & I didn't know that it takes up more energy to turn the air on & off manually. & my brother always told me to keep the air on 70 degrees. & my case manager chewed me out, telling me that that's the consequences I have to suffer & that I MUST pay the bill in full. The electric company said I used up 400 KW & $122. But the bill said the 400 KW costed $43. I don't get it.

I recently started having sex with this girl who i know well and who was a virgin before me. The first time, nothing happened but another time after sex.. I got this itching and redness on my penis. It went away after a few days. ...a guy you just started seeing asked about you recent sexual history? I want to know because I hooked up with a girl I started seeing and she said she was on the pill. I didn't think of it at the time but she hasn't had a boyfriend for almost a year and I do really know too much about who she's been with. why is it that when the topic of religion comes up on yahoo answers, everyone gets worked up and is mean to eachother and defensive. why do we have to argue when the topic of religion comes up. why cant we discuss our religious beliefs without someone saying something cruel. wether it be christian, muslim, jewish or just plain atheist, everyone has their beliefs and we should respect them and not judge or critisize.
