I recently started having sex with this girl who i know well and who was a virgin before me. The first time, nothing happened but another time after sex.. I got this itching and redness on my penis. It went away after a few days. Now its back though. we just had sex a few days ago and it itched a little and i did it again yesterday not thinking much of it but the itching and redness is worse now. I'm not sure what to do. I know its not an std. For other info.. i am not circumsized and it was unprotected sex... but i had unprotected sex with an x girlfriend for a year and nothing happened so I'm pretty puzzled. If anyone can help, id appreciate it.. thanks

You need to see your family doctor soon, to see what the cause is. Better to be safe than sorry.

Sounds like a yeast infection. She might have had one and didn't know it at the time. Its going to sound weird but wear boxers and loose pants....sleeping naked will also help. Tight stuff that makes it hot down there will make it worse. You might try Miconazole cream. You can get it over the counter. Just use it like it says one the package for women except just rub it on. She needs to use it too or ya'll will be passing the infection back and fourth. It should be gone in a week. If not go to the doctor.

just because you had unprotected sex with an ex for a year doesn't mean you won't get an STD now.

Why are you having unprotected sex? You sound too young to have sex at all, but if you're gonna do it get a friggin clue!

Go to the doctor. And don't have any more sex with the virgin.

just bc you think its not an STD doesnt mean that it might not be you definatly nee to get that checked out and just bc your gf was a virgin before doesnt mean that she didnt have anything i think both of you should get checked out ASAP! it could be anything from a yeast infection to a STD or a rash it could even be a allergic reaction to soap or calonge or any thing else that may have came in contact with it so pls get checked our pls! you never know and its easier to make little decisions and changes than bigger decisions and changes in life later on so do the right thing!

it certainly sounds like a possible yeast infection. Easily cured with Monistat cream purchased at the drug store. But if she isn't treating herself, you'll just get it again. Make sure she is treating her yeast as well. Or you just pass it back and forth. Yeast normally grows in a woman's vagina, but with her first intercourse and introduction of your normal bacteria, her normal population of yeast will overgrow, she needs to be treated with the monistat and so do you.
