We have floods and it's all down to GW, then the sun comes out and again it's GW. Whatever the weateher condition people blame it on GW!

I can't seem to figure out what I like, who I am or anything like that... I think I try to please my mom and dad to much....They seem so proud and I worry if I change that they won't be as proud of me....I just want to know who I am because of the above reasons, and because I'm in high school and isn't this supposed to be a time of self discovery, self and mental growth

i said the following words to the man i love (as he broke my heart by his behaviour):

what do you think. any chance we will ever be together-? story is, we dated more than for one year. had lots of fun. laughed, talked, appreciated each other. he liked me. love i don't know. falling in love yes :) he asked to move in with him! and he could change his ways for me... wow. but circumstances for a real relationship were on both sides bad. plus he has got lots lots lots of girls. he is a player. a guy dating lots of girls at same time. so i found out. i think that he did love me. but not enough to stop his ways. he intentionally made me jealous. kissed a girl in front of me. kissing me.. walking over to her and kissing her.. i kept cool until i exploded and my heart froze. i walked over and told him what a jerk he is and that it is over finally. he said nothing. just tried to hold me

After drinking a lot of wine. My sister asked to hold my son. We were on a beach trip with other family members. I let her and she walked out onto the large deck to calm him down. She seemed ok to me but my wife didn't think she should hold him. After I took him back from my wife (my sister seemed slightly offended by this but didnt' say anything) my aunt made a comment about how parents shouldn't let their anger out around your kids; that she would "pray to God" for help to stay calm when she was raising her kids and how kids personalitys are determined by how we act around them; how if we act ignorant so will our children.
My wife is very stressed with the twins and our 5 year old. She sometimes gets more angry with the kids than she should. While agree with her comment it didn't seem like the right time for it. I defended my wife and said she was just being protective of her baby. My aunts comment seemed out of line and wrongly timed to me. Am I wrong to have felt this way?

There was this guy at a bar, just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half of an hour.

Then, this big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, takes the drink from the guy, and just drinks it all down. The poor man starts crying. The truck driver says, "Come on man, I was just joking. Here, I'll buy you another drink. I just can't stand to see a man cry."

"No, it's not that. This day is the worst of my life. First, I fall asleep, and I go late to my office. My boss, outrageous, fires me. When I leave the building, to my car, I found out it was stolen. The police said that they can do nothing. I get a cab to return home, and when I leave it, I remember I left my wallet and credit cards there. The cab driver just drives away."

Back in the early twenties, organ grinders used to go into bars with their pet monkeys and entertain the customers for tips. This particular grinder walks into a bar with his pet monkey and states that he can play any tune that they want to hear. With that, he perches the monkey on the end of the bar, and the monkey is hopping down the bar, when it plops his *** on top of a drunk's glass. The drunk yells, "Shay, old man, duh yah know your monkeys got his *** in my beer?"

The organ grinder replies, "No, but go ahead and hum a few bars, and I'll pick it up from there."

As this poll by the HIGHLY respected YouGOV and taken in conjunction with Sky News, shows 20% would SERIOUSLY consider voting BNP:

For those who don't know, our 'first past the post' voting system means that unless a party gets at least 20%, they hardly get any seats and most of that party's votes are 'wasted'.

This dissuades voters from voting BNP because they ASSUME they won't get 20%, keeping the BNP vote artificially low.

As I go back to the gym
It's been a while, I'm back again
I think I'd better start out slow
I start to jog, its turned down low

Then some woman starts a pace
Like somehow she wants to race
With all my male testosterone
I start to run, but soon do groan

That male pride got the best of me
That men should win, as it should be
I quess nobody told her that
I backed it down, but did burn fat

She turned her head and gave a grin
I nodded back that she did win

Self-control is understood in real life, but what do you think about the new guidelines that IBM and Microsoft are coming up with for employees who have avatars in Second Life and other online "worlds?" These guidelines can so easily degenerate into empty and oppressive set of rules if not appreciated - this may open a whole new Ethics curriculum that colleges could explore. Please keep response clean.
