Why is it that when the going gets tough people blame God for their mistakes and they say if God is a loving God then He will not throw them into the lake of fire for their sins? Can't people just take responsibility for their actions, I mean God is not to blame because they are disobedient and because they are sinful. God Almighty is a faithful God, He's faultless, perfect and all powerful.
I'm not trying to offend anyone just trying to understand why they justify their actions/sins that way.

some religious sectors choose not to eat pork, based on writings in the bible from ohhhh..SEVERAL YEARS AGO...I am of the thinking that pork today is as safe and processed as any other meat?? Why do they hold on to these views and many of their members STILL think that pork is dangerous, dirty and bad...anyone??

My bf dumped me 3 weeks ago while i am 7 mos preggo. I have given him ample opportunity to tell his family, maybe we could work something out etc... Should I tell him I'm planning to take him to court or should I wait. He works with his family business and it's kind of shady how he gets paid. I doubt if he will bail b/c he has nowhere to go. I doubt if we would work out an agreement b/c he's an a88hole and wanted me to abort the baby at 6 1/2 mos. I'm just trying to figure out my options. I am going to hire a lawyer but I was just wondering if I should give him one more chance to do the right thing? I'm still pretty devastated and I don't want to make any decisions under duress. BTW, I am doing well financially so I can afford to hire a lawyer and take care of the baby. I just don't think he should get off that easy by walking away.

I would like to get into amateur photography. Nothing too artsy, and nothing for profit (unless the opportunity presented itself, of course). I currently own a Sony DSC-S40, and while it's a great camera, it's not what I need for what I would like to do.

I would like something that offers a nice zoom, allows B&W/Sepia/Color shooting, flash, and a higher resolution. Preferably something in the $1000 range or under.
