i have a younger sister who just turned 18,she is overweight and has low self asteem...she has had many boyfriends before this one she has now........he is 56 years old,people know him in our town as a woman beater,my mother and i have gone round and round with her about this...we do not approved,we have confronted him,but it didnt help.she didnt even tell us she was dating this man,but we found out,she swears she has dropped him,but i just passed by her house and he was there.i have decided not to open my mouth to my mother.question....should I?please give me your opinions on this what you think i should do and your reasoning behind it.thanks, for your help

I have, and I agree that it does exist, but for muslims and all of those who believe in one God, this is not part of the religion. The "arranged marriages" where a woman is not even asked is unislamic, and according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH), if her consent was not asked the marriage is invalid. What do you think of this?

"The consent of both the man and the women is an essential element of marriage, and the Qur'an gives women a substantial role in choosing their own life partners. It lays down:

Do not prevent them from marrying their husbands when they agree between themselves in a lawful manner. (2: 232)"

It was liberals that supported a new concept called Democracy. Conservatives opposed it. They supported King George. Liberals supported the bill of rights. Conservatives opposed it. Liberals were against slavery, conservatives supported it. Liberals were against Child Labor, conservatives supported it. Liberals supported equal rights for women, conservatives opposed them. We are running out of space so I'll get right to the point. In the USA, Liberals supported a war against Adolph Hitler, Conservatives apposedt it. Wake up. Jesus was crucified by conservatives who hated his liberal concepts.

I am doing a search for someone. He wants to stop drinking but he cant do it on his own. Also it needs to be free because he has nothing, not even a place to live and has no money not even to buy food. And so basically he is a bum. I've just started my first job as a cashier. I do fine except for those times when a customer says "Wait, I have change here.. I'd like less back" After i've already rung up their transaction. How do I go about figuring out what to give them back at this point?

EXAMPLE: Total comes out to 13.32 and someone hands me a 20 dollar bill but then says "Wait, I think I have some change here" after i've already rung in the 20.

No we don't live in igloos, nor do we say EH? I drink Imported Beer b/c USA and Canada beer SUCK! and we are not polite we just have good sense to know when to shut up, however, the Scottish blood in me overrides anything in that nature! And yes, we have everything you have and more, with manners!

I can almost understand all divination being condemned (according to the bible). What I don't understand is how so many people were condemned for it if they practiced oneiromancy (divination by dreams) if Joseph interpreted the pharoh's dreams the same way. Any thoughts?
