Alchol rehab in chicago?

I am doing a search for someone. He wants to stop drinking but he cant do it on his own. Also it needs to be free because he has nothing, not even a place to live and has no money not even to buy food. And so basically he is a bum. And i was wondering if there is a rehab program that is payed by the city or something?

Call Alcoholics Anonymous and they will direct him to some help. I wish him well...

Check and see if he is a Veteran. They have a program down at Taylor and Clark St.
