As an Englishman who is in the USA and on the verge of ownership of an American company i would like to ask the above.
It is of great concern that the natives in the USA seem to be alarmingy easy to wind up and most do not understand humour.Do you think i shoud sack all of the Americans and bring some British people over.At least we could get drunk after work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Besides using tampons and moon cups, any other ways to go swimming when having a HEAVY peirod? i know pads soak all water so that just wont work...but maybe some of oyu altheltic girlies know any tricks you used to go swimming...like maybe even some used BEFORE ppl used tampons...sorry but i am going on vaca and want to swim

I have been searching for a sitter for the weekends, when my son does not go to his fathers and I have plans and after searching and seraching, I think I have found her. She is really nice and educated. She is the total opposite of me (parent wise). She is more hands on then I, plus she can teach my son things that I cant. I really think that she would be very benefical in his life, esp. at the age of 3. I want him to be experience to different cultures and things. My son and I went to meet her and they got alone well,of course I was there as well.
Now the thing is, she is a burn victim. I mean completely buron the face and hands. Now when we left, I asked him if he liked her and he said no, b/c she is ugly & scarey. Now, should I not used her services b/c of what my son said. I dont want him to be scared or be ugly to her.

How should I handle this?

I am trying to make poker chip racks from old playing cards that are too bent to play with.
So, what adhesives would work?
After the inlays are done, I figure I'll papier mache them to make them flat on the bottom...

i have tesco's home insurance and have had to make a claim on my sofa, but i have lost the receipt and the company i got it from has gone into administration and is no longer operating as a business, plus the bank account i had at the time has been closed so i cannot provide a statement as proof of purchase. can the insurance company abandon my claim or do they have to proceed and either fix my sofa or give me money for a new one? also, there are screws sticking out of it which are a hazard to my son, i cant take them out because that would cause further damage to the sofa resulting in my claim being thrown in the bin. any ideas?

Thanks for all your advice given to first bike question. I have been to bike shop in my town. It is not a massive shop and seemed to have limited stock. Anyway my question is : Should my feet be on tip toes or not?
The first bike i sat on my toes were on tip toes and man said this was ok but it seemed like bike was too big for me. Also the seat was agony and i was only sitting on it for about 30 seconds. The second bike was smaller and felt better but again the seat was uncomfortable. The man said he could put a different seat on it.
I am going back tomorrow to try another one but it is a bigger one again - any advice?

I have a crew of 10 americans working for me now.
But I was approached by a guy who says he can get me a whole new crew fo 10 mexican immigrants (undocumented) who can do the same work for half the wages I now pay my current employees.....significantly improving my bottomline.

In 1995, we were issued a Blue United Nations ID, when in F.R.Y, it showed the relevant details of who we were and on the rear, it had three paragraphs; 1 in English, another in Croat, and the other I'm unsure off,does the current UN, ID cards have the same 3 languages on the reverse or would they have Arabic and something else. I asked this question a week or so ago and think I may have confused folks. All of these power packs state for outdoor installation only. I called Malibu technical service and all she told me was that it was the UL code.

More simply put, does anyone know of a concern if I mount and plug in my transformer in my basement, and run the low voltage wiring through a small hole to the outside for my outdoor ground lighting?
