Do you believe that the 'Muslim' extremists are actually muslim? I mean, just because they call themselves muslim, and use the religion as a base for their actions, doesnt mean that they are actually of that religion. I think, to be of a religion, you have to follow the rules given in its book.

If a guy bombed a building, and then when he was caught he said he did it for christianity, would you hate his entire religion because of him? I've had prejudice thrown at me because of my religion, and i'm just wondering why some people think like that.

FYI (i think...not really sure)- muslims are only allowed to fight a war (self defence or not) and kill in a war if God gives his permission. I don't think God sent down his divine permission form to the terrorists who claim to be religious.

Look at the conclusions they make.

The number of Atlantic Storms between 1905-1930 = 6/yr
The number of Atlantic Storms between 1931-1994 = 10/yr
The number of Atlantic Storms between 1995-2005 = 15/yr

Conclusion: Global Warming is causing more storms.

Look carefully at the data you will clearly see that the data is chosen to fit the conclusion rather than the conclusion is based on facts.

The first set of numbers span 25yrs The second 63yrs the third 10yrs

Why the difference in years? Simple, there is no difference in the number of storms over any fixed time span. Since there were more storms during the 30's-40's then today, this number had to be included with the 60's & 70's when there were fewer storms to get the number to fit the conclusion. Also while claiming that the current years have more storms 06 & 07 were conveniently left off.

First of all, I want to make it clear that I am a die-hard right wing and an American patriot. I am not some mindless freedom hating communist robot. So if any of you want to call me a lib, flick off!

I spent a the last month traveling around China and I must say that our understanding of the place is just.... pathetic.

We just love to think of Chinese people as mindless drones enslaved by the goverment but the fact is that they are NOT! I would go so far as to say that if you asked someone of equivalent status to you or me (i.e., just the average worker or student) they would know more about America then we do about China.

There are so much false info out there. People are writing about how Chinese people 'eat everything even each other or their own children' or 'have Christians throw off buildings and cook them into pies'...etc.

They are not ture! If this goes on China will take our place as the super power. I am sure we won't want that.

Well my dad used to be an alcoholic when i was younger. When my mom filed for divorce, he quit, went through classes and became sober again. He''s been great for around 6 or 7 years now. But lately he's been sneaking beer. I found a six pack in his truck behnd his seat. One day my mom told him that she would be staying at her mom's (my grandma's) for the night so they could plan a cruise with her. When she changed her mind, and came home, my dad was drinking a beer and watvching tv. He said " i thought u were staying the night" adn my mom told him she changed her mind. I'm going on a cruise thats 4 days long and i am afraaid my dad will start drinking while we are gone. My mom said that if he does, we're moving aaway becasue she doesnt want to go thru that agian. What should i di? i dont want to leave my dad and i dont want him to start drinking again! help pleas!!!!

I have tried running virus software, ipconfig, flushdns, release and nothing seems to work. I also messed around with network settings obtain Ip automatically. I just signed up with Time Warner and I know the connection is good I hooked a Laptop up to it and it could access the internet. I just cannot seem to get my pc to work(not wireless network). I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I really do not want to have to reload my system.
