D's can be too lenient on crime, but R's make a big deal out of small crimes but don't solve major problems. Some D's are too idealistic, but if R's were to totally control everything, the USA would become like a South American dictatorship. If the D's got out of control with bleeding heart generosity, people would (and do) milk the system and the rich would run w/ their $$. The R's can help by watching for abuses of the welfare system, but R cuts to schools is bad. The R plan of "creating more jobs" means cut full-timers and employees w/benefits and create a larger # of new low paying jobs, part time/no benefits. then the economy looks "good" as stockholders celebrate their gains, while workers lose their good jobs and fall into hard times.The D's are smart enough to not blame the poor, and try to protect workers. The R's would borrow $ and start wars to kill off the poor boys forever w/o the D's. Anyway I think both sides can serve a purpose in balancing the other.

I went from 121 yesterday to 94 today!

the only difference was I ate some ice pops before the test yesterday.

so is it safe to assume that i don't currently have diabetes?

when is it most accurate? in the morning before i eat anything? after starving for a day? after eating sugar????

I am at my wits end with all these parents who say that their " Little Johnny's" are either ADD or AHADor ADHD, what ever! Every child in America is a "Special Needs" child. The lack of parenting skills is unbelievable. My Little Johnny can't set still in class, what a load!! My Little Johnny can't concentrate. My Father had a fix for that one too. POW, can yeah concentrate now? When I came up a parent would have been embarrased to admit that their child was less than perfect. Now the parents all line up so that there child can ride the"Little Yella Bus" Am I crazy here? Do you agree that the parents just don't want to face up to their responsibilitys and would rather medicate the child? AArrgghhhh, I'm losing my mind here. Tell me, am I wrong in my thinking? I realize that some child are "special needs", and God bless them. But the doctors are lined up with their prescription pads and the Moms are standing line while the children run rampant. What is going to happen when these kids

My cat is really awesome looking , she is white fluffy, with green eyes , and very nice slim body.

I started noticing that many male cats in the neighborhood has started stalking her and they also harras my cat and constantly bother her in an attempt to date her.
So far she has rejected all of them. But these male cats are getting increasingly aggressive with her.

So I worry about her as I dont think these male cats know the rule of "No means No" ... I am worried that one of these male cat may try to rape her as she is outside and completely alone at night.
How can I protect my cat from these desperate male cats ??

i have that situation. When i saw one guy walking before me who has a leg injury(maybe because of basketball because he's wearing a jersey) and then i t0ld him: "Are you okay?" (i'm asking myself, why with this guy? i've seen many who is injured but i've never said that ). He looks at me and then i was really, really shock because his really handsome. He never said anything and he just smiled at me. i also smiled back and then i walked first before him (i do not act that i'm shocked, i just walk normal like nothing happened ) and then after that day, i forgot his face, and what i only remember in his face is his eyes.i don't know? maybe because of eye contact. i tried to go the place(school) where i saw him but i really don't rember how he looks.

what is your view about this?
Do you think its destiny to forgot his face and then someday we will see each other again?
if its fate should i also believe in serendipity?

People say they chose their religion on their own, but how many of them had "parental guidance" and were taught about it from birth?

I was a Christian for 21 years, and I didn't think I was brainwashed either. Once I snapped out of it like being awoken from hypnotism, I realized, holy crap I WAS. So how can you know if you are brainwashed when you are still under the spell?

But block certain people, myself included for responding? Can he not understand, that the reason most of us feel such hostility towards them is simply for the fact that they neglected their children! Now, I'm not being rude, using offensive terms, insulting anyone etc, etc, I am just stating what is a fact. Little children NEED protecting.

OK here goes my fiance and I are getting married next summer we are gonig to charter a yacht. Catch is the max ppl on board would be 149 but after looking at the yacht i simply think that is too many people i want everyone to have fun and not be so squished. So we decided to see about having adults only on board I mean that way our families could meet (1st time) and also everyone can relax without worrying about chasing kids around. Not only that our familes are huge and if we didnt just do adults we would have to cut our guest list and not invite some people which are really important to us. So we thought about informing everyone that it would be a 4 hour adult cruise wedding only to refrain from bringing the children with the acception of the flower girl, ring bearer, which the flower girl is our child so obviously we would keep her and 2 other children as we are doing it close to my home town my fiance's family is from florida and would not be able to make such arrangements help

I understand he is considered a jerk, but I dont care.

Everyone will also bring up the steroid scandal, which he was never tested positive for. But people still deny his greatness on an athletic level (not personal or social).

Others say he would not have reached this level without the use of steroids, but answer me this... Now that they supposedly have better steroid testing and test more frequently, how come he still hits around 40 home runs each year when healthy after the BALCO scandal in 2002?

Is it still luck? Or is it because he's black?
Is it also because Hank Aaron was black that he didn't get such a celebration when he surpassed Babe Ruth? Is baseball just racist?
