But that story wasn't good enough?

And so they added another:
He rose into the sky and became a god.

C'mon, church folks -- your whole religion is based on two wild stories --

Question:
Is there even one scientist who will believe either story?

The question, whether God exists, is a whole other question. If you can't answer this one, don't bother.

First of all Jesus never rose to become God. He is the son of God. There is only one God.

Actually, yes, there are scientists who believe in it.

And yes, they are wild stories. However...the resurrection is the only thing that makes sense. The disciples couldn't have stolen the body, because moving the stone would have awakened the guards that were sitting outside the tomb. Besides, what would they want with a body that had been in a tomb for a couple days? I'm sure that in the heat they have there, that body would have started to stink. So what happened? The Romans and the Jews had NO explanation for the empty tomb.

There have been lots of theories about Jesus (the "swoon" theory being one of the most popular ones) but none of them hold any water.

And by the way, Jesus didn't "become" a god. According to the disciples, He already WAS God.

But as I said, there are HUNDREDS of scientists who believe in God, and are Christians.

You might try getting the stories straight before you question them. He didn't rise into the sky & become a god, He was God before He became man; He was God while He was man. AND, it was 3 days, not 2. AND, there's plenty of scientists who are professing Christians; like the rest of us, they catch flack from dubious skeptics.

If someone is dead for 2 days, that person will be already infested with all kinds of creepy crawlies and your body will never be able to function as a human again. Especially in warm conditions like the Middle East without refrigerators.
If someone is not taken over by the bugs after 2 days, he most likely was not dead in the firsts place.
Maybe the bugs gave him the wings, it couldn't have been Red Bull.

So did my hubby, well, a little over two days. You know, life support (repirator), heart pump machine to ciculate the blood while he lay there dead, and so forth, so I can relate. I also pressed a moisened sponge to his lips, the liquid was sour. That was over nine years ago, but I recorded every detail of it for posterity.

And before this, He called Lazarus from the tomb; who had been in there FOUR days !!

Obviously, that was to show that God can imbue life into a dead body - one, two, three, four ..or whatever amount you want to name days - by His might Power.

They are no wilder than the "just-so" stories trotted out by evolutionists.

"Is there even one scientist who will believe either story?"
Yes, there are plenty of scientists that believe both. But it's more a historical question rather than a scientific one anyway.

Not a real scientist
If someone who majored in science believes a body would be capable of walking after 3 stiff days of death....they must have acquired a head injury somewhere along the way....

Let's hear it for the polytheists. They continue to stun and amaze. 1 god = 3 gods = 1 god? I thought that was the Isis, Osiris and Horus story. Just alike. Hmmm.

Many scientists believe it. All of them, "scientists", if you know what I mean. Theology is a science. Then again, most theologists are now atheist...
