I think it was "Waking The Dead". Don't know the guy who does the main role (Fielding, a soldier, who later becomes a congressman). Jeniffer Connelly does the role of a girl, Sarah , an activist, who falls in love with this man. The story starts in the 70s. Both want to change the dirty nature of U.S. politics. In short, Sarah dies in a bombing while being involved in activities against the currupt system. Fielding is davastated by this which he can't get over even after many years. So when he's campaigning for the congress elections her memories come back and he has dillusions of her and feels she's actually alive. And finally, in one of his dillussions she comes to him and says goodbye. That scene in which she goes away forever is really hard to watch. This may be the worst discription of a film but there isn't much space. So I wanna know 1 What did think of the movie? 2 Do you remember the song that plays in the background in the the final scene? If you do pls the name & artist

Bush has continued on a "borrow and spend" path for several years now. I'm thinking maybe I don't need to worry about our debts and deficits. I'm almost 50 so I'll be gone before we really have to pay for it, but can someone who understands econ. better than me explain what could be the consequences if we just don't worry about our national debt?

A recent question made me remeber this question of mine asked nearly a year ago, so I thought I'd ask it again and see how many tackle it...

Have you ever heard of the concept of freezing people with a terminal illness and then bringing them back after the cure is found? I know it's more fiction than science, but for this question, let's all presume it's possible.

If you are frozen for say... a decade. They find the cure, bring you back, and fix you up. Are you 10 years older? I mean physically and mentally you wouldn't have aged, right? But, your birth certificate would still be the same, so legally would you be 10 years older? If so, what if you were 16 when you were frozen. Technically, you'd be 26, but would you be allowed to drink, vote, etc.?

Now for the real deep thinkers... what would happen to your soul during that 10 years?

Impress me and I'll give you best answer and thumbs up 10 of your other answers (if you have that many) for a total of 20 points!

My husband's desktop Dell 4600 PC needs the motherboard replaced in it, is this something we can do ourselves? I had it at a technicians place, but Dell is giving him the "run-a-round" about getting the part for him. So he don't want to fix it now. How can we fix this problem, short of buying a new computer. We really can't afford a new one right now. Would a different brand motherboard work? Can we do the work ourselves? How hard is it? Any and all information would be great appreciated. Thanks and God bless. ♥

There is no mention of reading or mathematics classes at the school, so are all the characters morons? I mean, do they still have the academic level of a ten year old at age thirty?

Euro-Americans who oppose illegal immigration always say that "my family came legally through Ellis Island". And also that they came here to work and committed no crimes like the Mexicans are.

The truth is many of those families who came through Ellis Island would today be considered ILLEGAL. Many were stowaways or fell through the legal cracks. They had to be sponsored by someone in the U.S. and many just got off the boat, and hid away.

Also many like the Italians faced discrimination in America, so they turned to murder, racketeering, and organized crime which is known as the mafia. Does all this sound familiar??

Let's say for a moment that I accept all the aspects of the "inside job" theory (which I don't) such as:

1. Controlled demolitions.
2. Remote controlled planes.
3. NORAD turning a blind eye.

If the so called "official" story was contrived, why would they then put the blame on a group of terrorists with the vast majority of them coming from Saudi Arabia?

Think about it, that's the LAST country we want to generate any friction with, and it's been that way for over half a century.

If the "blame" was going to be tagged on "innocent" people, wouldn't it have made a hell of a lot more sence to have these terrorists come from Iraq, Iran, or another country that America had a grudge with ?????

We always dance on eggshells with Saudi-Arabia, we don't need to falsely accuse them of having most of the 9-11 hijackers coming from their country.

Unless of course that's exactly what happened.

I'm a newbie in photography. I'm thinking about buying my first DSLR - a Nikon D40. On the web site that I visit there are 2 options, one comes with a 28-200mm / f3.5-6.3 lens, and the other one with a standard 18-55mm lens. What are the difference between the two?

I'm interested in taking picture with a deep depth-of-field (i.e. shape subject with blurry background) and also some scenary pictures too... would the 28-200mm works better?
