Like everyone else said, they are planning on taking a section of Island of Adventure in Orlando and turning it into a Harry Potter themed area, complete with Hogwarts, the forest, and a few other areas from the books and movies, but as for a ride, I'm not sure about that yet. They haven't completed all of the details just yet, although from what I've seen online, it's going to be around the Dueling Dragon's coasters, which that would make a great "addition" to the Harry Potter themed area. That section of the park is supposed to be opening around 2009 or 2010.

Actually, I heard that they will be making an entire amusement park based on the Harry Potter world (or at least a huge section of an existing park) in Orlando.

Yeah there making a themed park of Harry Potter in Universal Studios located in Orlando Florida. Im pretty sure it will be finished in 2009.

At Universal Studios in Orlando, they are making a section based on the Harry Potter theme. It will open around 2010 I think.

They are planning to build a Harry Potter themed park. The announcement was made maybe a month ago. No real details were revealed, but they offer a few of their ideas.

'I hatelazypeople' is right. they are in the works as we,well,uh, type(instead of speak), for a whole theme park of Harry Potter. They said that they will have a Hogwarts, an Enchanted Forest and the village of Hogsmeade with all the shops and everything! But they said it won't open until 2009-bummer! but from the sketches the people showed of it, it looks awesome and I can't wait to take my kids(HUGE H.P. fans) on vacation there!
