I just ask a ? about child support and leaving kids.Well I paid for a trip and was waiting to caught my last plane .My husband called and said he was going to call the police on me for child abandoment.So I was not able to go on my vacation we are seperated.He knew I was going, where i would be ,when I was coming back.So seperated people can't go on vacation?Can he do this to me ?

I know that the bible clearly states that it is wrong to be homosexual. What I want to know is if it is so wrong why can't we control it? I have several friends that are of the gay preference and many of them grew up in christian homes and tried changing the way that they were. They did all they could and here they are....still gay. And they hate that about themselves. The idea didn't come from liking to be gay but rather...the natual attraction to the same sex. What about those people?

I'm going to be a college freshman next year, and choosing the right place to go has been the hardest decision in my life. I have recieved a full four-year scholarship to Wellesley College, a great school. It would be an honor to attend such a college. However, I live 3,000 miles from Massachusetts, which means I will live 3,000 miles from everything I know and trust. I don't have a single family member in Mass and I don't know a single soul. Should I go to Wellesley because it is a great school, or should I go to college with my twin sister (who I am very, very close to) and stay close to home where long distance bills won't exist?

Abstinence is the only known and 100% proven method of preventing unplanned pregnancy and transmitting STD's. Besides, sex brings with it a whole lot of psychological, mental, emotional, and physical responsibilities that many people, especially teens, are not ready for. What's wrong with encouraging parents and teachers to teach abstinence to teens and young children? No one is saying take out all the other messages on safe sex but make abstinence equally taught and demonstrated in our society. Some might say that its unrealistic but I say that it's a million times better than the reality that we are now experiencing with the spread of A.I.D.S and other STD's. What are some of your thoughts?

I don't want to offend anyone, but it seems like everytime I go onto this site, there's nothing but Harry Potter questions. Now, no offense to Harry Potter fanatics, but is there any way you guys can check maybe other questions or check old questions to see if your question has already been asked? That way some other book lovers who may or may not like Harry Potter can have a chance to answer questions not relating? I went to a local bookstore and bought this book. I started reading it yesterday, I am only into about 4-5 chapters and boy did I find out many things my dh and I are doing wrong. I actually recommend this book to anyone who is ttc, very informative! The book was about $24.00, instead of wasting money on taking pregnancy tests too early, save your money and go get this book. I am one of the ladies who is ttc and kept getting pregnancy tests only for them to come out negative. Are there any ladies out there after reading this book actually did become pregnant and if so, how long after reading it did it take you?

I'm 5' 10 and weight about 220 pounds. My goal weight is 160 lbs. and toned. Do I need to lose pounds before I can become tone. I know 5'10 @220 sounds fat and sloppy but I'm actually athletic and most people are surprised I weigh that much.
