Its just water weight you will swear off mostly, although if you do it consistently it may have some sort of positive effects on your weight as it takes a lot of energy for your body to sweat and then replenish itself with water. I think hitting the gym is a lot better way to go personally - you sweat there too.

Most people would say it is all water, and it is. The part most people miss is that to lose that water, you had to do some work, unless you were lying about in the sun. Any work you did will eat up calories and if you don't increase them, you should lose weight.

Also, doesn't it feel great to take off a sauna shirt and see the water escape?

Weight loss through perspiration could help you into your tight clothes.

Long term weight loss could be had just by eating a little less each meal. Not a lot, just a little over time.

it's water weight. jockeys lose "weight" fast doing that, but it's not real.
