How can I become more articulate when I talk to people.

I mean like being able to get my ideas across clearly, being able to explain things well, being more confident with speech etc.
It would be great if I could be more articulate as I am starting college soon and one of my subjects is Higher English.

i'm guessing reading books would be a good way, can anyone help me out?

What's the point in someone who has means to defend themself endangering their own lives and possibly the lives of others in the case where there are others present, sitting around with their thumb up their ar$e waiting half an hour or more for the police to get to the scene?

If people were able to take the law into their own hands several people might still be alive today instead of waiting around for police to come.

Me and my husband are getting a divorce... and at first it was a mess... I recived an order stating he now has temporary custody of my children in march... it was filled but there is no signature from a judge... or marked if it was apporved or not... would it still be apporved? k i am 38, married and have an 8 year old son. I have a phyical problem that inables me to move around well. I am mostly home bound as we only have one car and little money. So here is my problem, I am bored, or maybe depressed. I see my live flying by and i am helpless (it feels like). I see all the things in my head that i want to do. I plan everything out in my mind. I just cant or dont do any of them. For example, I wake at 7:30, make my hubbys lunch and sons breakfast. I clean the kitchen( in a rolling chair) and then I am so tried that i want to go back to bed. Or I make coffe and tell myself that i will just sit down and rest for a little while ( by 3 I'am napping).Help, any thoughts as to what I can do? Thanks all

I know that running late to an interview is BAD but in my case, I thought that I was going to be late so I called in 5 mins before and told the interview that I was running a few mins late because of traffic on the bridge. She said that it was fine and not to worry about it. Turns out that I got there on time with a min to spare.

Was it a bad move for me to call in thinking that I was going to be when actually, I made it on time?

Heres the story from my view. I'm the parent the girl who is 17 and will be graduating soon. My sisters kid is a boy and his friend has interest in her. The two seem to want to go out even through the age difference. Shes 17, soon to be 18 and hes 15, soon to be 16. believe in what the Bible says? All I seem to hear is "because it was written 2000 yrs ago". What does that matter? Do you really think that 2000 years from now people will refuse to believe in the events that are taking place today? In 4007 are people going to not believe that in 2007 the Colts won the Superbowl, that George Bush was president, and there was a war against terrorism taking place just because those things happened so long ago? Taking aspects of faith out, at least come up with a logical reason not to believe in the historical events of the Bible. You put "faith" that events really happened in other history books that you read, right?
