Unfortunately, Mitsubishi has fallen into the same trap that the other manufacturers have. They want every vehicle to appeal to a broad range of consumers. This is the same concept that killed the Jeep, the Hummer, the Camaro, etc. The car makers are looking more for sales than purity of the vehicles. I firmly agree that the 4G63 should be continued in the 10. It has only been proven for almost 30 years to be a bulletproof engine. However, soccer moms don't want the performance that it offered and, well, the majority of automobile buyers are families who are concerned about comfort and economy over performance. At least we still have the older EVOs and to a lesser extent the DSMs. :)

Im not too sure about the looks, it looks both good and bad from different angles I have seen online. I also dont like the fact that they ditched the venerable 4G63 for some new engine platform. It's also heavier and is leaning toward performance luxury, something that previous EVO'S were never about, they were all about kicking A S S. I guess we just all have to wait till early spring next year.

As far as looks, its ugly. No more rally spoiler, looks to much like the new eclipse. I prefer the VIII and even the old school evos. But it should outperform all previous evos and I wouldnt complain if I had one...
