A couple of years ago I was trying to get the pit out of an avocado and let me tell you how NOT to go about doing this:
1. First I held the avocado in my left hand
2. With my right hand, I tried to stab the pit (with the sharpest knife I own.
Without being too graphic... lets just say the I was off work for 2 weeks.
I'll never do that again!
