They are very simple to do. You need the kit that comes with it to make the installation easier and for the video of instructions.
After you get the first strip down at one edge of the room the others snap onto it. All that you need to do beyond that is cut the pieces to fit at the edges of the room.
The one trick is to make sure they are snapped together right. If they are they make a distinctive click. If not you may as well take the latest piece off and retry because it has to be correct step by step. After a few are put together it will come very easily.
