If I held a pound of human fat in my hands, how big would it be? I've heard that a pound of fat is about the size of 1 lbs of butter, but that doesn't seen right because a stick of butter appears to be a lot denser than the fat in your body.

So, I am a massage therapist. And there is this annoying confusion between massage therapists & prostitutes.

I have nothing against women who want to make money with what they got.... I don't have any urge to do it, but I can understand that women are allowed to give it up to anyone for free, so why no profit from it?

Since it will never go away, why isn't there a larger movement to regulate & control this industry to prevent abuses by pimps, treat & screen for those with diseases & aid those sex-workers who want out of the industry with occupational rehab?

I want you to tell me what you think of the legal status of this profession.
Should we keep doing what we're doing?

Should we have harsher punishments or sentences?

Should we move towards acknowledgment, decriminalization & regulation?

Do you see another option?

I have recently been diagnosed with clinical depression. I went to a dr. and am now taking paxil. The dr. gave me an excuse from work, I should have returned to work today, but when I called lastnight to see what time I come in my boss told me I was off the schedule for the week because they weren't sure if I could handle it. I called another boss who's higher up and she said she didn't have time to talk to me. I told her all I want to know is if I work tonight because I was supposed to. She said she would call me back but she hasn't yet. By the way I live in Upstate New york, can they do that even though my dr. said I can go back to work?

Why is my diastolic blood pressure so high, while my systolic is normal? I watch my sodium intake...I'm active and practically stress-free. My blood tests came back normal. Also, my dr. has put me on 2 BP meds: Toprol and Micardis. It's helped my systolic but not my diastolic BP.

I wanted to use our toaster oven to partially anneal the aluminum from a soda can, just to get out the wrinkles in the sheets, but from experience in using a standard blowtorch while annealing tells me that it gives off a rather unpleasant stench. now, our toaster oven dosn't smell great, but I don't want the smell of baking metal sticking on top of that... what I want to ask, is , will the smell from the annealing aluminum "stick" to the toaster oven, or can I just air it out and the smell will go away?

my 4 year old grand daughter has tb she is 1 of 3 children who was tested but only she has the tb but her mam my daughter in law is 6 months pregnant so why was she not tested im sick with worry i have 8 grandchildren aged from 1 year old -10years old and they all come to me home for sunday lunch is this wise or should i try to keep the other children away from her which is awful i just dont understand how she came back positive when her sisters didnt she has to take medication for 6 months can the other children catch this i just havent got a clue or am i over reacting plus my 10year old grandson has always has problems with his chest and been in and out of hospital over the years he is on 3 different inhalers plus my husband has coad so im so scared they will be more vunrable to pickin this disease up please i will be gratful for any advice
