I want to do a meaningful place for both of us. There is a beach that is meaningful to both of us where I think would be nice. Now I was trying to think of something creative instead of just proposing at a beach.

My thoughts were we can go out to dinner and go walking the beach after (timing it right for the sunset). She loves sunsets but what girl doesn't. Im thinking of planting a message in a bottle and stashing it between some rocks by the water. I will stash it ahead of time. Probably have a friend watch over the message/bottle so no one takes it. Maybe take some pics of the special moment hiding out while there. When we walk the beach I can stumble up to it and act like I don't know what it is.

The message will be self-written but anonymous so she still doesn't have any clues. When she says that was really sweet/nice..etc. I will tell her I know who wrote that...she will say who? and I will get down on one knee, take out the ring and propose.

Hows this? Think this will work?

A blond, a brunette, and a redhead were trying out for a new NASA experiment on sending women to different planets. First, they called the brunette in and asked her a question.

"If you could go to any planet, what planet would you want to go to and why?"

After pondering the question she answered, "I would like to go to Mars because it seems so interesting with all the recent news about possible extra terrestrial life on the planet."

They said "well okay, thank you." And told her that they would get back to her.

Next, the redhead entered the room and the NASA people asked her the same question. In reply, "I would like to go to Saturn to see all of its rings." Again, "thank you" and they would get back to her.

Finally, the blond entered the room and they asked her the same question they asked the brunette and the redhead. She thought for a while and replied, "I would like to go to the sun."

The people from NASA replied, "why, don't you know that if you went to the sun you would burn to death?"

The blond smirked and put her hands on her hips. "Are you guys dumb? I'd go at night!"

I'm reading the Scarlet Letter and don't understand one of the quotes in chapter one. It says "The founders of the new colony...have invariably recognized it among their earliest practical necessities to allot a portion of the virgin soil as a cemetery, and another portion as the site of a prison."
Could someone tell me what this quote means and what the point of it is?

I saw on G4 that some senators were pissed about not being able to get an iPhone because it costs too much to get out of their contract. So guess what they're doing. Trying to pass legistlation that makes it illegal to keep a certain phone exclusive to one company ala the iPhone. Have you guys heard anything about this? How badly do you think they'll get laughed at when they propose this to the Supreme Court?

Then they would see how rediculous they look when they take dives. A GP racer can fall of his bike at 100 mph plus, get up, run to his bike to get back into the race. To see these idiots writhing on the ground after a leg tap is ludricous. I am an ex racer and a soccer fan.

After September 11th the whole country rallied around those events. People put aside their differences and united. For a while there were no democrats or republicans, we were just Americans. 7 months ago I converted from Christianity to Islam. In those seven months, I have had a very difficult time praying. I live at home (I have to) and share a room with my brother. My room and the bathroom are the only places I have enough privacy to pray. Recently, by brother has made it his mission to come into our room and sabotage me while I pray (i.e. pushing me, pulling my scarf off, playing music very loudly, ect.) therefore praying in my room can only be done maybe once a day if I hurry. The other rooms in the house, my parents room, the living room and kitchen always have people in them and the bathroom...I think you can guess why I don't want to pray in there. What i am most worried about is that Allah will not forgive me for this, even if I make the prayers up (I have them all tallied up, the ones I've missed) I would like to know what you think of my situation and would like some (any!) advice!!! Thank you.

I am hoping a Veterinarian may see this and know the answer. FIP is short for Feline Infectious Peritonitis and it is a virus. I have found a wonderful cat at a shelter that I would like to adopt but I do not know if there is any risk of it catching this disease. My cat who died has not been in the house since July 9th. Does anyone out there know anything about this? Thank you for your help.
