I want to do a meaningful place for both of us. There is a beach that is meaningful to both of us where I think would be nice. Now I was trying to think of something creative instead of just proposing at a beach.
My thoughts were we can go out to dinner and go walking the beach after (timing it right for the sunset). She loves sunsets but what girl doesn't. Im thinking of planting a message in a bottle and stashing it between some rocks by the water. I will stash it ahead of time. Probably have a friend watch over the message/bottle so no one takes it. Maybe take some pics of the special moment hiding out while there. When we walk the beach I can stumble up to it and act like I don't know what it is.
The message will be self-written but anonymous so she still doesn't have any clues. When she says that was really sweet/nice..etc. I will tell her I know who wrote that...she will say who? and I will get down on one knee, take out the ring and propose.
Hows this? Think this will work?

That is awesome brother. The only way it could be better is if you could somehow have flipper swim up to the beach at the exact moment balancing the ring on his nose...wait, do dolphins have noses?

Every girl hopes for a romantic, original proposal. But, in the long run, if you two love each other, it doesn't matter how you ask her. The proposal is just the beginning. That said, I think its sweet that you are putting so much thought into this. Good luck!

skip the friend, if it washes away you just stand there and ask her normally
make sure the only message in the bottle is Will you marry me? What do you mean "anonymously"? Won't she know that is's from you??

I think it is wonderful! Esecially since you will have a friend watching they can take pics of you on one knee and everything so you will have them to look back on. Not many people have proposal pics and I think it would be great! Great Idea (i think my boyfriend needs to read this for some motivation... lol)

Sounds like a great idea, but have a back-up plan in case it rains or something else goes wrong. I hope you will be fully dressed when you do this instead of in swim apparel She will never be able to refuse you with all this planning.

It sounds good. It seems like it will be a little hard to orchestrate and pull off, but if you are confident that you can get it all to work then it sounds like a great idea. Good luck!!
