932.87 rounded to the nearest hundredths is 932.87. Rounded to the nearest hundred is 900.
The first number after a decimal is the tenths; the second number is the hundredths; third thousandths, etc.
5.7634 to the nearest hundredths is 5.76. Again, .01 is 1/100th of the number 1, and 0.1 is 1/10th of the number 1.

900 - the figure 9 is in the hundreds column. You have three tens in the tens column and as this is less than five, we round down. Therefore, the 900 stands and we don't round up to 1000.
5.76 - The 6 is in the hundredths column. Because there are only three thousandths, we must round down. Therefore, the 6 stays the same and does not change to a 7 i.e. 7 hundredths.

well 932.87 is rounded to the nearest hundredths place but if you're asking to the nearest hundred it would be 900. 5.76 is the answer to the other. Remember 0-4 round down 5-9 round up.

10 = tens
100 = hundreds
1. Round 932.87
= 900
You round down to 900 because it is less then half way to 1000 by being only 932. If it were over 950 then round up.
------------------------------------------
.1 = tenths
.01 = hundredths (same as 1/100)
2. Round 5.7634
= 5.76
You round to the second place after the decimel. Round to 6 because the next number is only a 3. If it were over 5 or over then you would round up to the next number (7).
In any case:
If it is over 1/2 way to the next number then round up.
If it is under 1/2 way to the next number then keep that digit or round down to get what you need.

Did your teachers not tell you where your number places are? Try an online search for help on how to answer them. You shouldn't be asking others to do your school work for you.
