My previous employer never took Federal out. On my W-2's every year it was never listed and I always owed the government. Is that legal? Could it be that it was because there were a lot of illegal immigrants working there too?

I have 4 stepkids, ages 11, 15, 17, and 20. ALL they do EVERY day is play videogames. They basically only get up to go to the bathroom, eat, or walk to another room to play another game system. I have only been living here since October and have always let dad make the rules. They don't have any chores to do other than put their clothes away. They don't do dishes, they don't help clean up the table after any meal, they don't help with laundry. I had a basketball hoop put in hoping they would play, they don't. We have a beach a few blocks up the road that they won't go to, even if I offer to drive them. I ask if they want to go on a walk with our dog we just got last fall, they don't. You get the picture. They still get $5/week for doing almost nothing. All they do is beg to rent or buy more videogames. I told my fiance that they are lazy and need to help out more and that they always want, want, want. He mentions to them that they need to work more, they do for a day or so

Several months ago, I asked this question on Answers and got some great responses: "How can someone stop settling for less than the best." The only thing that has changed is that the "long-distance situation" is over. I didn't meet anybody yet, but I wanted to be free to move on whenever I do meet someone. So, my question: Any suggestions for activities to occupy my time. So far I came up with getting involved in the Alumni association and volunteering at retirement communities. Since I'm 31 and single, I also want to meet other singles while avoiding the typical "night scene," any suggestions?

If Christians don't do this themselves, how can you expect the rest of the world to convert with that attitude?

Being absolutely sure (because of the Spirit's peace or whatever) isn't good enough - talk to those that are quite sure of their own, different faith.

My roommate is going to take me to small claim's court. Her sister "is a lawyer". So I guess she thinks she has a case.
Short scenario: We were on the same lease at an apartment complex. All the utilities are in her name. And we broke the lease (through a 60 day notice) and now she's getting the utility bills and wants me to pay half of them.
Full scenario: She couldnt afford our apartment anymore, so she put in a 60 day notice wout my knowledge. Its not binding until I sign it. So she told me she'd pay to break the lease ($1000) by herself if I would just sign the 60 day notice. So I did. She went back on her word and told me I had to pay half of the lease breaking. & I did bc it affects my credit. So she wants me to pay half the utilities too which are all in her name. And, unless those things add up to more than $1000 ... Im not paying shiat.

If she has a case ... can I counter sue for my half of the lease breaking? will I need a lawyer if she gets one?

I am desperately in need of help>>>
He is a guy who was in my class for about 5 months. He first told me about his wishes through one of my friends back in February. I refused him. After that he tried to speak to me through different friends several times. I evaded all atempts. On the last day of class when he confronted me, I told him I would be just a friend to just get away from him.
Now he has discovered that I am on HI5 and he is appearing as different people. for example out of the ones I discovered:- as a guy frm Tanzania, then a 14 yr old kid.

I am 16 years old and I need help to end this. I have asked him to leave me alone and made my point extreamly clear. But it seems as if it was of no use.

There is going to be a charity sale in my high school, and I am frightened that he will turn up there.

Please help me .............................

The first one is at an alternitive school (kid's that have been thrown out of public school for various reasons). I would be teaching middle school L.A. Summers off, tuition reinbersment, low teacher student ratio, paraprofessionals, and $31,000.

The second one is for middle school aged children with severe and profound disabilities. Year round position, low teacher student ratio, tuition reinbersment, paraprofessionals and $45,000.

My major issue is that I like haveing summers off but the more money sounds nice also. I've never worked with "troubled" teens (I dont have a problem with it either) but I have worked with the severe and profound population. So, what would you do?

Or is it because you know that it if you believe and there's no God, it doesn't matter, but if you DON'T believe, you'll be in trouble? Or, is it because Darwin recanted on his deathbed? Or, is it because you think we all came from monkeys? Or, is it because you know there's a God and you're afraid of judgement for your SINS so you try to deny Him? my cervix is pretty soft and high. But I was wondering about the opening of the cervix. DH and I are wanting to have a fourth child and when I check my Cervix, the opening is there, but well how should I put this....

it feels like its closed and then at times it doesnt... like there is a slit at the top of the opening? I can still fit my finger tip in it, but I just wondered how its suppose to feel if youre pregnant?

I never did check my cervix with my other pregnancies, so I cant compare them to how it feels now. Also, last time I went to the bathroom i had some yellowish looking mucus that looked inbetween watery and slippery kind of mucus.
