Or is it because you know that it if you believe and there's no God, it doesn't matter, but if you DON'T believe, you'll be in trouble? Or, is it because Darwin recanted on his deathbed? Or, is it because you think we all came from monkeys? Or, is it because you know there's a God and you're afraid of judgement for your SINS so you try to deny Him? Or, is it because there are so many scientists that dispute the theory of evolution which is clearly not as scientific as the Bible?

Why ARE you here, anyways?

I find it truly sad that such an obvious parody still gets answers like, "I think this is a troll."

Brothers and sisters, if I were trolling, I would try to be a LITTLE less obvious.

Cheers! Great question! Here's another one. Why are so many Fundamentalists in the gay and lesbian section? Are they secretly gay?
As for me, I'm just here for the free drinks and to answer the evolution questions. But you get a star for being so funny. Some people didn't catch it because some Fundamentalists actually act like this (or worse).

I think most atheists are here because we are intrigued by the beliefs of theists. We don't understand how theists can believe in a supernatural God for which there is no credible evidence. We don't understand your belief in a Bible that contains so many inconsistencies (God commands "Thou shalt not kill" and then he murders or has murdered thousands of innocent men, women and children in the Old Testament), and unbelievable stories (the creation, Noah and the ark, Jonah in the belly of the great fish, the virgin birth and resurrection of Jesus, the Book of Revelation).
To answer some of your specific questions:
>There is no evidence that atheists are more miserable than theists.
>Darwin never recanted on his death bed. That was a rumor started by one of his Christian friends.
>Evolution doesn't say we came from monkeys. It says that humans and monkeys had a common ancestor, proven by the fact that humans and chimpanzees have 99% common DNA.
>Atheists don't deny God because we fear his judgment, but because we see no evidence for his existence.
>The vast majority of scientists believe the theory of evolution. The only "scientists" who believe creationism are Christian pseudo scientists.
>Not one page of the Bible is scientific.

Deke- you are such a troll. LOL

This is a drinking question, fool! *drink drink drink*
Just because we like hanging out here, doesn't mean we secretly fear or want god, we don't. We do however, have fun finding eachother. This is the only place I know of to talk with other atheists and have fun trying to show organized religions' zombies there is another way to live besides fearing what isn't there.

I'm not an atheist, but I assume I can safely say that they're here for the same reason as the rest of us;
To ask and answer questions regarding religion and spirituality. I mean, you may not be a buddist or jewish, but that doesn't stop you asking and answering questions about buddism or Judaism, does it?

Because we tend to be more educated about religions than those who practice them. Anyone of ANY belief can discuss the TOPICS of Religion and Spirituality. Notice that it DOESN'T say "Religious" or "Spiritual". Of course, atheists are some of the MOST spritual people on the planet.

Do you have to be a dog in order to discuss them?

Why WOULDN'T you want them here? Everyone has a right to debate. You may learn from them, they may learn from you.

Questions like this serves no purpose other than to ridicule.

Everybody has a right to go where ever they want to go. It doesn't matter what they are. And you should no better than that.
