As an atheist, I admit that I might be wrong (though I currently find it unlikely)
If Christians don't do this themselves, how can you expect the rest of the world to convert with that attitude?
Being absolutely sure (because of the Spirit's peace or whatever) isn't good enough - talk to those that are quite sure of their own, different faith.

If you admit that you might be wrong, that makes you an agnostic, not an atheist...you see, what you don't understand and you are not alone....is that once you are truly saved, you know without a doubt that God is real..because his presence is with you. You hear people call him a living Savior, and there is a reason for that. You do know,,,now some might choose to return to sin, but they will always know for sure there is a God.
IF you want proof there is a God, just ask him to save you. See, just by doing that, you are showing him, you are searching for the truth, your heart is still open. When atheists, true atheists, reject God and all he stand for, they no longer care if there is a God. It never crosses their mind. They have hardened their heart, so God can't reach them..he can still reach you..just ask him to save you and see what happens. BTW, I was an agnostic until the age of 38 so I do know where you are coming from. Imagine my surprise when I found out how wrong I had been. So, just ask him into your life..he is waiting for you.

Ask any muslim if they have a personal relationship with allah... or any other followerof whatever "religion" or another...
Faith not based on fact is fiction... for those of The True Christian Faith, God is The Fact... it is because of the personal relationship between God and the individual the we of The Faith know that we can have Faith in what God has told us. We know that what is to be will be... because we know, personaly, Who it is Who is telling us. We have The Facts ... The Truth

Sure I could be wrong, we are not perfect.
But my peace is in the fact that I never found happiness in sin, (although I looked hard) and I do find happiness in following God's law.
So, right or wrong, I am truly happier on earth as a Christian than I was before.
It is a win-win for me.
Peace be with you!

No, I'm not absolutely sure that God exists. But what I am absolutely certain of is that if God doesn't exist, we have no purpose in life. Try this quote from an atheist:
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (20th century mathematician, philosopher and Nobel Laureate)
Love is a purpose for living as is compassion but all those noble things are meaningless in a world without God. Instead of being noble deeds, they are just things that make us feel good.

I am absolutely sure that Jesus Christ died for my sins. I am absolutely sure that I am saved by grace through faith. If this offends you it is not meant to, but it is my story and I'm going to share it.
There are those who will listen and will be saved by the witnessing of Christians.

You ask"Christians ,could you be wrong?" .
It is enough to read the bible to understand they are WRONG.
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.
If there is a God ,it is not the one described in the bible, that one is a vicious, evil murderer ,immoral ,bigot . That God contradicts the concept of what God is supposed to be.
Just read the bible , only blinded people cannot see the truth.

No, we have doubts. And a certain amount of faith questioning is healthy. Blind faith is not true faith.
I'm Catholic. I say that because I'm sure there are some denominations that will claim to have no doubts.

Of course we could be wrong about things. We HAVE been wrong about a great many things. To say no is a lie.
I've discovered a lot of things I've been wrong about, so now I have to, are you ready for this(?), change.
