The mighty Quinn will probably hold out and therefore forfeit this season. Russell will probably start by week 4 and will struggle with no offensive line, no head coach and an idiot owner that wants to "go down the field". A write off year for both.

Quinn is going to head to camp battling for the starting job, but it's likely that Derek Anderson or Charlie Frye will win the QB job come opening day for Cleveland. Rookie QB's tends to sit on the bench for the first year in order to learn the new system which might take more than training camp and preseason to learn, as well as learning to read defense and call audibles, which isn't easy for a first year QB in the NFL. However, Quinn might still get a shot a some point in the season if either Anderson or Frye falters, but Cleveland would prefer to have Quinn as their third QB (or if they have a sizeable lead or losing big). Russell might have a better year than Quinn, mainly because the reigning number one pick is expected to be second in the Oakland depth chart next to incumbent starter Josh McCown (besides Andrew Walters is the only other veteran QB in the roster) and because McCown never had the skill to lead a team for a season (his last starting gig was in Arizona a few years ago). If McCown falters as expected, look for rookie head coach Lane Kiffin to throw Russell into the fire (just like Jeff Fisher did with Vince Young last season).

I quite honestly would use neither as your starting quarterback. If you want to pick someone up, probably go for the Jason Campbell type guy who has good recievers. Neither of these players have good recievers.

Possibly. The one who has better stats will have the better offensive line. The QB can only make things happen if he is protected. IMHO
