At the council of Nicea the church called together several different scientists from around Europe. These scientists took a vote (Democracy is the best way to establish truth) and they decided that the Trinity was the absolute truth and that to say that Jesus and God were completely seperate was nonsense.

This has been scientifically proven, but why do some people reject this valid scientific theory?

I think my first title looked like I was giving help rather than looking for it.

It's a movie I think originally in japanese, that was dubbed into English.

What I remember of the movie was a guy named Cloud (in english dub) and he had the power to control water.

At one point in the movie, he tore his arm off and threw it into the water, I don't remember why.

There was also a guy wearing green most of the movie who controlled fire.

And it all culminated in a fight against an old man who I think controlled lightning.

I know it isn't the title, but, the closest thing in my mind is "Blade Runners" which isn't on IMDB or anything.

I really think my brother would enjoy this movie, so any help is appreciated!

I have been told that I could get it renewed without having to be there, since I am with the military here in Germany. My licence had expired years ago, but I still have it. I plan on retiring from the Reserves this October, and coming back to Chicago. It would be nice3 to be able to get this out of the way, for I have many things to take care of befor I leave. Please let me know what I should do if possible.

This morning I found a cat that had been hit by a car and was struggling to reach a puddle of water to drink some.... it was crawling on its front legs only, but I thought there would be some hope and called a vet. But the vet said her backbone was fractured, she was paralyzed from the waist, and would starve to death in a matter of days or weeks, depending on how much she would manage to crawl for food....
I asked whether there was anything to do for her, he said that we could keep her alive for a while, but she would be like a disabled person, not able to move or control the lower part of her body, and that eventually, if no one adopted her, she would die in great suffering...
So I paid him and asked him to put her to sleep. It was a homeless cat, she must have had a very tormenting life, I thought the least she deserved was a painless death....
But now I have doubts... did I do the right thing? Wasn't there a better option for the poor cat?...
Please give me your honest answers...

Please share an experience that you have had to humble yourselves.
Quote by John Gardner " An excelent plumber is far more admireable than an incompatant philosopher the society that scorns excellence in plumbing because plumbing is a humble activity, and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy because philosophy is an exalted activity, will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy. Neither its pipe or its theories will hold water."

In high school, Holly was popular. Holly had her own car first. Holly liked to drink with the "in" crowd in the 10th grade.
Holly was head chearleader, Home coming Queen, and dated the popular football player. Seems like she was class president too.

Holly eventually died in the local state mental hospital...before our 25th Reunion!
Will I miss Holly? No, I never met her...she was too popular.

Leviticus 19:19-31
"Do not mate different kinds of animals.
"Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed.
"Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.
"Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it.
"Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.
"Do not put tattoo marks on yourselves.
"Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them.

"Marge, have you ever actually sat down and read this thing? Technically, we're not even allowed to go to the bathroom."
