In high school, Holly was popular. Holly had her own car first. Holly liked to drink with the "in" crowd in the 10th grade.
Holly was head chearleader, Home coming Queen, and dated the popular football player. Seems like she was class president too.
Holly eventually died in the local state mental hospital...before our 25th Reunion!
Will I miss Holly? No, I never met her...she was too popular.

well, you said it....she had the first car, drank and at a young age, slept around and that's how she made head cheerleader and got the football jock. holly had no morals or scruples. and in adult life could not keep up her popularity nor could she understand why she did what she did at a young age....or maybe she did no what made her do the things she did and that's why she was in a mental hospital. we never know what is going on in other peoples home life. it may look good from the outside but in the inside her life was hell.we don't know what went on behind closed doors.

I would guess she was driven by her desire to be popular, and there was little underneath the veneer.
Sad. I don't like to see any life wasted, but especially a young person.
